    The first Splatoon game was good on it's own. It's a new Nintendo IP since Pikmen. Then Splatoon 2 came out. It took everything that was good in the first game and added onto it. Splatoon 2 has better graphics, a fantastic story mode for a game that focuses on multiplayer. It's so fast-pasted and so much fun! I have put the most hours into this game than any other game ever.     Não joguei o Primeiro, mas eu amei o Splatoon 2, seu modo Single - Player tem fases muito criativas e uma boa historia, os modos onlines são fantasticos, e o novo modo Salmon Run é incrivel, é muito satisfatorio você ganhar nesse modo! Um dos melhores do Nintendo Switch!

    At launch, this incredibly creative and unique shooter(which was pretty much an upgraded port of the original) was lacking on a lot of things to do and basic features, but still had solid gameplay mechanics, fun world and characters and was fun and well-designed.     Splatoon 2 is a great shooter that brings a bit of fresh air to the genre. It improves considerably the original Splatoon, with more variety of weapons, a remarkable campaign, outstanding artistically, a good soundtrack but not perfect and playable exquisitely.
    If you liked the original, you will love it.

    -Los Splatfest son muy divertidos y originales
    -Quizás se me quedan un poco cortos los modos de juego que hay, ya que hay pocos a mi parecer.

    Excellent game. Even though it is basically just like the first Splatoon, this game is still great. Hours and hours of fun. I have no complaints regarding this game. I am only a level 30 and there are level 99 people playing. I never get tired of this game. This is how a "shooter" should be, just fun without hearing 12 year olds screaming in my ear or trying to insult me LOL.

    One of the best games on the system, great style, gameplay and it is an all around gem.
    Some problems i encountered was trying to play with friends, in turf war you cant decide to play with or against some of your friends and the lobby is always the same, which can be annoying since the players you encounter are always the same.     The salmon run mode is excellent. It would be great if another mode like this one was added.
    The singleplayer mode is fun but nothing special, a little short but fun.
    The weapons and customization are amazing, the arsenal is huge and so is the clothing collection. Furthermore, there are addictions to the game every week or so, which makes, to me one of the best games on the switch.
    I think it is a must have game for the switch even for people wanting to play this alone or just casually.    … Expand

    Splatoon 2 is a shining example of a sequel to a shooter game, taking the formula of the original and refining it to a T. The vast customization options and the general difficulty makes this perfect for anyone to get into, from a kid to hardcore player. If you didn't get this game when the Wii U... happened, then now's your chance, you do not want to miss out on this unique shooter.

    The game is fantastic! I sold my all my old stuff in order to earn some money to play this game and I was not disappointed. I played through the single player and it was an amazing experience beating all those levels with different weapons, The single player sets the stage for what comes next, the multiplayer.     if you liked the first sploon, this one will have you playing immediately with a new mode and many new special weapons. The game introduces 1 new mode called salmon run which is basically kill bosses, take the eggs and repeat.     Very innovative and balanced shooter. I love the idea and execution of this game. It got me into shooter game, which I hated back then. Family friendly design, welcoming to newcomer as well as veteran shooter gamers alike. Gunplay is also very good and balanced, catering to a lot of different playstyles.

    The shooter genre is very divisive for me. But I absolutely adored my time with Splatoon 2. I had not played the first, so I went in with a clean slate. And it immediately became one of my favorite Switch games. There are several different multiplayer modes, each with endless replayability, with Rainmaker being my favorite of the bunch. There is also Salmon Run, a team-based zombie fishThe shooter genre is very divisive for me. But I absolutely adored my time with Splatoon 2.     La jugabilidad es perfecta. La música no me gusta demasiado. El juego es bonito.
    La interfaz del juego para mi es lo peor: Cada vez que entras al juego tienes que tragarte las "noticias". Solo puedes jugar a los dos mapas que haya en el momento, no puedes elegir en que mapas quieres jugar ni los modos.

    This is my favorite game of all time, I know that some people aren't big fans of this game and the community is at times as bad as undertales but this is the most fun I've ever had in a video game

    10/10 would recommend to anyone

    Expands on the original Wii U game in every way with new maps, weapons, single-player missions, and phenomenal music. Wireless can be a bit fickle, but more often than not it's a high quality experience. A must have for any switch owner.

    I really wanted to enjoy this game, and initially, I did. I enjoyed playing Splatoon on the Wii U and this sequel seemed like the perfect opportunity to keep playing after I got a Switch. And at first, I did love the game. However, when Nintendo decided that you cannot play online, which is the main feature, without paying for Nintendo Switch Online, it sort of ruined the experience for meI really wanted to enjoy this game, and initially, I did. I enjoyed playing Splatoon on the Wii U and this sequel seemed like the perfect opportunity to keep playing after I got a Switch. And at first, I did love the game. However, when Nintendo decided that you cannot play online, which is the main feature, without paying for Nintendo Switch Online, it sort of ruined the experience for me as I did not want to pay. I know there is other game modes, but I tried Salmon run and didn't particularly enjoy it as it is far too hard and I am sort of incompetent while playing difficult games. Finally, the single player mode was fun yet underwhelming. I think it is lacklustre compared to the original game's story.
    The reason I am giving it a good score, however, is because in the time before Nintendo Switch Online took over, I didn't stop playing it. It was brilliant. I think this game is only really fun if you are willing to pay, but when you are ready to pay extra for online play, it is definitely worth it.    … Expand

The only reason I give it a 9 instead of a 10 is that the offline single player mode is short and underwhelming and you have to purchase the Nintendo online subscription to play the rest of the game. However, the overall price is definitely worth it. Salmon run is amazing, the league battles are fun, and there isI never played the first Splatoon game but I absolutely love Splatoon 2.     First of all, I'm not a fan of the Splatoon series nor do I have much playtime, yet I enjoyed the time playing Splatoon 2. If you like the gamemodes, and short matches you are going to have a great time. Splatoon 2 in itself is a great shooter with nice mechanics making it special.

Este es un juego para disfrutar online con amigos o en solitario y creo que es la mejor forma de que jugadores nuevos y con poca experiencia en jugar por internet incursionen en el online sin sentirse frustrados. ¿Recomiendo Splatoon 2? ¡¡Sin duda!!

    An original, fun third person shooter that is always fun to dip into every now and again.

    The only thing that stops me playing it more often is the amount of time it takes scrolling through conversations before being able to play .

    That said, it is always easy to find a match and I'm glad I own it.

    Es un juego perfecto, lástima que para poder jugar con amigos se necesite de que cada uno tenga su Switch, el modo historia es más bien un gran tutorial para hacerte con el control de las armas pero eso no lo hace menos divertido, por el momento Nintendo no tiene pensada una tercera parte espero que se lo piensen mejor y digan que si porque es una IP que no pueden desperdiciar, la historiaEs un juego perfecto, lástima que para poder jugar con amigos se necesite de que cada uno tenga su Switch, el modo historia es más bien un gran tutorial para hacerte con el control de las armas pero eso no lo hace menos divertido, por el momento Nintendo no tiene pensada una tercera parte espero que se lo piensen mejor y digan que si porque es una IP que no pueden desperdiciar, la historia del DLC es bastante interesante y más oscuro de lo que esperarías en un juego de este tipo y he de reconocer que en algunos niveles del DLC necesitarás de varios intentos para lograrlo yo aun hay uno que no hay manera de conseguirlo.     Splatoon 2 displays updated graphics from the predecessor, a plethora of new weapons, a new game mode and a new battle mode keeping new fans and old fans alike interested in the game until the next release in the popular series. But even the most colourful vibes capturing a summer festival with friends from seasons past, UI changes and the removal of quality of life additions from Splatoon 1 may irate only the most dedicated of Splatoon players - Splatoon 2 offers a staple experience of classic Nintendo multiplayer games.

    This is one of my favorite games. Excellent. The concept is so simple but the game-play is so addicting. There are a limited number of songs but they're so good and the game play is so good that you somehow don't get tired of the same songs.     Its splatoon 1 but better. Everything from splatoon 1 is here but its better. The graphics are better and the subs and weapons are more complex. Ranked modes are more fun and more polished. The netcode could be better, people are bouncing all over place.

    I consider this game more of a port with some new stuff. but it's fair since when Splatoon 1 came out the Wii U was already a dead console. I have had a lot of fun with this game, though leveling up is slow but still rewarding. I also really enjoyed the new mode, Salmon Run. If you have a Switch you should get this game.

    I gave this game a 9 and not a ten because there is actually technically nothing wrong with the game it has great graphics fun a multiplayer a story mode which is great for getting into the game, the weapon and clothing options/customization are some of the best i have seen in any game and salmon run is just an amazing addition. Having said that my main complaints are the multiplayer matchmaking system as of now Feb 29 2020 24 multiplayer maps which is more than enough but the system of choosing stages is flawed where in you will randomly get selected one of two stages which are randomly generated over 2 hours which means everyday your favorite stage will be on once but that does not mean you will get to play it as when it is on you could be at school, work or literally anything i think they should do the same stage selection as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe where every race you will get 3 new stages to chose from and if you do not like them you can always choose random this is good because if you do not like the 2 stages that have been chosen you basically cant play for 2 hours which is just Nintendo hurting its own player count also same with the ranked modes which there are 4 which you should just be able to choose your preferred mode and also there is no reason that salmon run should be open 24/7. There are also many things i would add that would make this game one of the best but that is not the fault of the game it is just something i would add to the next one.… Expand

    What can you say, it's pretty much just Splatoon 1 but with way more content. Octo expansion is the icing on the cake. Aside from minor balance issues that come with all games like this, Splatoon 2 is one hunky game.

It is a totally unique shooter with mechanics not contained in any other, and this combined with its adorable, colorful world mean it appeals even to someone like me who is not often into shooters.     Splatoon 2 is a great successor to the previous installment in this franchise and is tons of fun to play. This is one of the best casual 'shooters' on the market, and if you like Nintendo and shooters, you are bound to love this game.

    Super fun and I love to play with friends. Fun game. Awesome 3D. The octo expansion pack is a nice thing too that makes it like a regular video game where you can earn cool skins.

    Great and funny online PvP and a cool fandom, but the story is way to short to make me believe 60€ is the right price for this game. People, who do not use the online service should not buy it

Three years in, Splatoon 2 still has an outstanding community, and I spend many hours playing Salmon Runs and Regular Battles (I don't feel quite ready for Ranked and League Battles yet). And boy, am I happy that I bought it. The game is super fun and keeps you engaged with different character customizations (weapons, shirts, hats, shoes etc.).

    Splatoon 2 is such a damn good game that literally no one talks about and I won't stand for it any longer. It's totally a kids game but it's so inventive and creative and fun and everything works so well. The replayability isn't there for me because of no achievements/trophies but I had an absolute blast running through this game once and dabbling with the multi player.     Its a nice onlinegame, but in this Game is no anti-cheat, needs a very good Internetconnection and its laggy. For 20€ or $ in a year its to bad. BUT in Splatoon2 are a lot of gear and Weapons and thats a big + for Splatoon2. The fights are different to other shooters. I like this game and I have 400h played this game. It's a must have for NSO users!

    I LOVE this game. This is everything I wanted in a more kid friendly shooter. I love the gameplay. There are so many cool weapons to choose from. There a single player mode but I don't really like it. Lots of stuff you can wear. I also think the squids are cute :). However Switch Online is needed to play most of the game. Other then that this is a great game. Worth the buy.

    It’s not perfect, but it’s a great game. The gameplay is really unique, but there are a few things that fans wanted fixed from the first game that they didn’t fix in the second, like skippable news. However, these complaints aren’t actually that bad, and I think the actual gameplay balances out the couple of minor flaws.

    This game is amazing. The single player is great, salmon run is great all the modes are great, definetly reccomend. Only one thing in this game holds it back from being 10/10. No split screen multiplayer. I can't sit dowwn and play turf war with my sister. I have to take turns and its annoying. Still reccomend buying though

    De los mejores juegos de NIntendo Switch, divertidisimo y adictivo, sus modos de juego quedan a la perfeccion con el juego, su online va bien. Y con la llegada del DLC el juego da para muchas horas

If you're looking for a challenge, the Octo Expansion DLC is available for purchase, offering a much harder campaign, new story, items, and more.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Splatoon 2 might be my favorite game of all time! The problems I had with the original game were the verity and balance of the guns, the bland characters, and lack of special abilities. Splatoon 2 fixes all of them. They added sloshers and umbrellas and balenced the rest of the guns. Marina is my favorite character in video game history and pearl is good too. The added more abilities than just ink armor and multiple bombs. To go along with it salmon run is great even though you can’t always play it. Splatoon is by far my favorite switch game and one of my all time favorites.… Expand

    Overall a great game. Colourful graphics and a very catchy soundtrack. The online is particularly addictive especially if a ‘Splatfest’ is on. This is a Nintendo game though so the online is nowhere near as good as it should be. No voice chat (unless you want to use an app) and for the main multiplayer you can only play 2 maps which then change every 2 hours. Just some improvements toOverall a great game.     Ich stehe normalerweise überhaupt nicht auf Multiplayer-Spiele, aber Splatoon macht mir super Spaß, und ich liebe die Punk-Asthetik, auf die alles hinausläuft, und alle Spielmodi machen wirklich Spaß, außer dem Story-Modus.

    Diversión en estado puro. No eh encontrado otro videojuego con el grado tan alto de diversión, risas y adicción que splatoon 2. Un juego que puedes pasarla excelente con amigos en partidas amistosas o sacar todo tu potencial en el modo competitivo.

    The game is good and original but the single player is a bit lackluster. I'm hoping in Splatoon 3 will have a bigger and more of an open world single player campaign. The multi-player is fun but I think it is too derivative of the first game... Still a good game but you may as well wait and get the 3rd game in a year.

    El juego es buenísimo y mejoro muchas cosas del primero, el modo historia no es lo mejor, las batallas son muy divertidas pero sus servidores son un poco malos.
    Recomendación: No comprar el juego si no tienes Nintendo Switch Online

    I think it’s silly that features like not being able to change weapons between matches had to be added in an update (though it was added early on, but still). The updates were fun to get though as eventually we got new weapons with completely new special and sub weapons as well as new stages.

    This game includes the option to change hairstyles and pants, which was something you could not change in the first game. I believe there are also more eye color options in this game as well. We also got even more hairstyles in an update later down the line.

    The single player is fine, though it’s nothing mind blowing. The final boss battle seemed a lot easier than the one from the first game, which was a little disappointing.

    Overall I continued to enjoy the splatfests like the previous game and I had lots of fun. Though I feel like it would have been nice for some more major updates.    … Expand

    Thats one of my favourite games of al time, its so unique and fun to play, the community sucks and you gotta pay to play online, but its Nintendo’s and communities problem, overall:

    A game truly worthy of being a sequel to one of the best Wii U games of all time. It improves on so much, adding more weapons, stages hairstyles and so much more. In my opinion, the campaign in the first game was better, but this one is amazing as well.

    Though never fun in real life, spilling ink all around is even more fun in Splatoon 2 than it was in the first game. Teaming up with your squid friends has never been better. But even though some weird Nintendo elements can drag the fun to a stall, everywhere that Splatoon 2 shines makes it a deserving heir to the original.
