    It's great how they changed common RPG elements to fit the South Park universe. But otherwise it is a pretty standard old school RPG, with some offensive humor and dubious aesthetics. It's biggest strength is that it doesn't overstay its welcome. Mechanics leave the feeling of too much randomness.

    So great to have this game downloaded to just boot up so quickly and play a great RPG! It feels like your watching a South Park episode! Highly recommend

    Great fun! This is everything you want from a South Park game! It really feels like an extended episode you take part in.

    It has a huge amount of great diaalogue with al the characters voiced properly. it is in utterly poor taste )of course) and has numerous laugh out loud moments. There are many tie ins to the series, and in jokes in abundance, but the overall story is fresh and    Great fun! This is everything you want from a South Park game! It really feels like an extended episode you take part in.

    There are many tie ins to the series, and in jokes in abundance, but the overall story is fresh and new so these don't feel like more than fun in the grand scheme of the game. Gameplay is simplistic, but lets face it your here for the experience and the fun!

    All the best characters are here, even if some need to be hunted for. But in a game with Aliens, Nazi Cows, a homeless infestation, evil afterbirths and the whole(?) of Canada to explore - what more could you want Buddeh?

    Master the power of your anus, just remember - never fart on another dudes balls!

    Fantastic game. Was a real nice surprise as wasn't expecting such a in depth game. Funny, great story, good combat and levelling up.

    Excellent game for South Park fans it has millions of references and a ton of content, combat is fun and the RPG elements are also greatly done.

    I mean, it is South Park. Their raw and crude humor translates very well into this deep RPG. Took me several hours to beat

    Creative and fun. Has the perfect length for a game with such shallow combat system, even though I wanna emphasize that "shallow" does not mean **** It's not very complex and no fight will be an extreme challenge, but that's perfectly fine for a game like this that's more like a fun South Park movie than an actual RPG. One downer is that parts of it are censored in EU.

    Fart control is horrible. It's unintuitive. For me personally, this feature has become an annoying factor.

    This is the best classic Paper Mario style game on the Switch (for me it's better than PM:TTYD) and one of the greatest RPG ever (much much better than Fractured but Whole). Only bad things is that this game is censored in UE (i don't understand why they censored abortion parts in this game?) and it's also too short.

    South Park: La Vara de la Verdad es mucho más que una simple adaptación de una serie. Este juego es básicamente un nuevo episodio de South Park (más largo evidentemente), con las mismas historias locas que caracterizan a la serie y con un humor adulto sublime. La historia es muy buena, los personajes son carismáticos, la jugabilidad es bastante divertida y el mundo está lleno de secretos ySouth Park: La Vara de la Verdad es mucho más que una simple adaptación de una serie. Este juego es básicamente un nuevo episodio de South Park (más largo evidentemente), con las mismas historias locas que caracterizan a la serie y con un humor adulto sublime. La historia es muy buena, los personajes son carismáticos, la jugabilidad es bastante divertida y el mundo está lleno de secretos y detalles. El estilo artístico es igual de bueno que en la serie y en la Nintendo Switch se juega perfectamente. Hago especial hincapié en las misiones secundarias, que son prácticamente igual de entretenidas e interesantes que las principales. El juego me ha durado unas 14 horas completando todas las misiones. Recomiendo haber visto la serie antes de jugar a este juego ya que está plagado de numerosas referencias a ella. Lo malo del juego: A veces es un poco lioso y poco intuitivo los mapas en 2D y algunas mecánicas; la música es buena pero quizá se hace un poco repetitiva tras escucharla muchas veces al pasar por la ciudad, porque es la misma en la mayor parte de esta; y el guardado, que no se por qué pero a veces me ha dado errores. Juego totalmente recomendable para fans de la serie y de los RPG. 8,5/10

    LOL this game caught me off guard by how fun and down right funny it is. I mean guys, it's South Park! Can't wait to play the other one!

    You'll enjoy this, if you're a fan of the show.

    The Good: - classic South park humor. Not a dull moment if you're into that kind of humor. - a lot of references from the show - I enjoyed the QTE combat, mixed with turn base - using environment to kill enemies was fun. - a lot of funny items can be found - job classes had their special abilities. - ridiculously over    You'll enjoy this, if you're a fan of the show.

    The Good:

    - classic South park humor. Not a dull moment if you're into that kind of humor.

    - a lot of references from the show

    - I enjoyed the QTE combat, mixed with turn base

    - using environment to kill enemies was fun.

    - a lot of funny items can be found

    - job classes had their special abilities.

    - ridiculously over the top enemies. Never know what to expect.

    - use of allies in fights and environment was cool

    - using farts and abilities to gain access to new places was cleverly implemented.

    - the scenarios and places you visit are over the top, as you'd expect from South Park, like Mr. Slave's rectum.

    The Bad:

    - combat gets progressively easier. You gain really strong equipment and buffs. Some items like speed potion is OP cause it gives you an additional turn. A lot of fights become cake walk. Your weapons become so strong that you can kill bosses in like 5 hits, and regular enemies in 1. Being able to use items without costing a turn for both you and your ally basically prevents death.

    - disappointing final boss fight.

    - an over abundance of money. You always have a huge surplus.    … Expand

    Great port, although it still has some minor technical issues, like longer load times, and after it has been beaten, my version has a tendency to crash, particularly when I enter Eric Cartman's house and go to the crossroads that lead downtown.

    Great and funny game. Definitely 18+. There's a lot of variety in this game (story, characters, satire). That's something quite unique in games in my opinion.

    Featuring all the hallmarks of the animation series, with emphasis on its acidic humour, The Stick of Truth brings a good and simple combat system and a plot that will have fans falling all over it. While the lifespan could be longer, it's harder to understand the logic behind suppressing some elements, while leaving other potentially bolder elements in, but this ends up not harming what is a fun and insanely amusing RPG based on one of the most popular animated series out there.

    If you’ve never played this before, even with the random minor stutter, this is still a great game and likely Obsidian’s one and only release on the Switch. If you’ve played it before, there really isn’t anything here that warrants a second or third purchase.

    South Park: The Stick of Truth is really the same game, four years later. Sadly, this new version doesn’t take advantage of the Switch unique properties, but it’s still a great game you can play anywhere you want.
