Distilled down to a very, very strong portable title, Rebellion brings its A-game with Sniper Elite 3 on the Switch. It's not just that it's one of its best creations to date, but also the fact that it comes with so little sacrifice, and the series unique and visceral gameplay. It seems that the multiplayer is getting a lot of praise as well from those who could play it so. With that in mind there is no reason not to pick up this port, especially if you've not had the chance to play through it before.

With the Nintendo Switch lacking in war games and good third-person shooters, the Sniper Elite franchise has managed to fill the void with a well-placed bullet. The setting of Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition is engaging, the campaign is varied, the gyro controls are remarkable, and the experience is entertaining. Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition is an excellent Switch game and one that fans of World War 2 shooters will thoroughly enjoy.

Sniper Elite III: Ultimate Edition is a third-person stealth shooter that takes you through the Africa campaign during WWII. Featuring gore-laden sniper shot cutscenes and comprehensive gameplay, you can really see why this one is a cult classic.

Thanks to a series that genuinely gets better with every iteration, Sniper Elite 3 remains one of the best snipers sims of this generation

I had fun with the game. At times the controls proved to be difficult with the handheld mode, so I switched to having the Switch docked and used the controller on the TV instead. The aiming function takes a little bit of time to get adjusted to after having played other shooters before this one.

I was a big fan of Sniper Elite 3 on Xbox One, and I really like Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition on Switch. While it doesn’t have quite the same visual impact on Nintendo’s hardware, it is still a good-looking game. And the actual adventure is as good as ever. It’s a big step up from Sniper Elite V2 in terms of the narrative, map layout, and visuals. There are loads of content on offer here. If you rush through the main game you can finish in around 8 hours, but you’ll more likely spend somewhere between 15 and 30 hours working your way through the campaign. The extra single player missions are really nice and show how good Rebellion is at crafting stories. Including the DLC is a nice touch and makes this an absolute bargain at an already budget price.

On Switch, Sniper Elite 3: Ultimate Edition is just as good as it’s ever been, which is to say that it’s very good indeed. It looks great, performs well, has plenty of content where it really counts and doesn’t skimp on online multiplayer like so many Switch ports often do.

Sniper Elite III: Ultimate Edition is a mostly worthwhile game with strong moments of action, the iconic use of the X-Ray Killcam and sniping gameplay spread across 8 main levels and the extra DLC missions. It can be a fun addition for those who have not experienced the original version, but it also comes with some shortcomings that might discourage avid fans of the genre.

The Switch version of the game plays largely like the original console release, though offers some motion controls that should be turned off. As with most re-releases on Switch, it’s definitely worth a look if you’re a fan of the genre/franchise and haven’t played before.

This port to Nintendo Switch still works. Sniper Elite 3 is an old game (it was released five years ago), even though this game is a good choice to have fun wherever you want.

Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition is a nice port of Sniper Elite 3 with all the DLC included. The gameplay is tactical and requires patience, which may not be for everyone. Some tasks and situations can be frustrating, but you can still have a good time.

Questions for the game as an independent unit
    1. Why such a strange mechanics? I shoot a fascist and he flies off somersaulting.
    2. Why sometimes when I see the enemy in the sight and shoot him - in fact, I shoot for cover in front of me?
The rest is a dynamic shooter with excellent graphics and interesting gameplay.
However, the game has questions as to the representative of the "sniper elite" series.
    1. Why are there so few survival cards? In 2 and 4 parts there are much more of them (in the second there are 5 of them, in 4 I don’t remember how many, but also not a few). Here, in the third part, there are only two and they are limited to 15 waves.
