Jun 27, 2023This is a very well-made game that is fun to play in short bursts. The range of game modes on offer is pretty impressive, although the menus to navigate through all this a a bit dull. I've given this a 7 instead of an 8 because I moved on from this game pretty quickly and I'm not sure if I'll come back to it. Slipstream is certainly worth picking up on sale if you enjoy arcade-style racers.

Jun 13, 2022While simple at first, Slipstream's gameplay becomes more complex and addictive as the game goes on, and the variety of game modes and effects, as well as its marvelous visual environment make this game a fabulous choice for those seeking some retro-inspired driving fun, which could have been even better if it featured an online multiplayer experience.

May 10, 2022The action is fast, the controls are responsive, and there’s a huge amount of content to get through – especially considering the reasonable price-point. If you’ve already exhausted the Switch’s premium retro racers then Slipstream is well worth a runaround.
