Apr 13, 2020Simple, yet satisfying. Skies of Fury DX is a mobile title that belongs on the Nintendo Switch. A quick pick-up-and-play experience that has appealing audio-visuals, can be enjoyed in short bursts, and has flexible multiplayer options. The only downside is the lack of variety in the types of stages and missions that are on offer, particularly for the current, £14.59 price tag.

May 11, 2018The gameplay loop is kind of awful but piloting an airplane and shooting others out of the sky is really satisfying, especially as they fall to the earth trailing black smoke before they explode into dozen pieces. What Skies of Fury DX lacks in stuff to do, it almost makes up for it in playability.

May 10, 2018Skies of Fury DX is a really solid aerial combat game. The games story mode is extremely lengthy, but unfortunately, it’s artificially filled with the same missions over and over. There’s no distinct difference between German and British campaigns, yet you’re forced to play through both to progress.

Apr 30, 2018I enjoyed my time with Skies of Fury DX and will pick it up whenever I'm in the mood for some arcade-style dogfight action. In the end, I'm looking forward to seeing what the developers come up with next.

Apr 25, 2018Skies of Fury DX will surprise a lot of players, given a seemingly paradoxical situation where the game is simultaneously a mobile port and a polished, satisfying experience. Still, if repetition is an issue for you, then Skies of Fury is one of the worst games your money can buy. The amazing gameplay is the key here: if you enjoy that, and do not mind playing a handful of very similar missions over and over, then Skies of Fury DX will treat you well.
