You might visit for the lewdness but you won't be staying for long. Senran Kagura Reflexions falls short on its promises and ends up being a dull title that fairs to offer anything memorable.

If you’re a fan of the series, this entry won’t be of any great surprise - after all, we’ve had a water gun third-person shooter and a rhythmic cookery game under the Senran Kagura banner - but if you’re new to the series this title might look like the kind of thing you'd not normally find on Switch. As innocent and silly as it all pertains to be, it’s just a tame excuse to get a bit of cheap sleaze onto a Western games console.

It's a pretty denigrating game. In addition, HD vibration and motion controls have to learn a lot of eroticism yet. If they wanted perversion they could have gone to the extreme, and not stay in the bikinis with small moans and "senpais".

Senran Kagura Reflexions is an unfortunately meagre take on the visual novel genre, showcasing its graphical fidelity alongside its questionable one-trick pony gameplay.

It's hard to recommend Senran Kagura Reflexions to anyone at all. Rather than a game, this is more like a collection of screens that test the accuracy of the Joy-Con movements and at that, it does work. Unfortunately, it fails at everything else and it simple does not provide the content, the sense of purpose and the structure necessary to call this a fun interactive experience.

I am not going to mask it, the only real reason you would actually buy Senran Kagura Reflexions is so that you can look at scantily clad women and see them in seductive positions. However, let us be completely honest here, if that really is your sole reason to play, there are many better and cheaper ways of doing such things. Even though other games in the series featured many of the same themes, at least the gameplay had a bit of substance to them. There just isn’t anything here to hook anyone but die-hard fans.

Honey∞Parade Games set out to make a game where you touch Asuka all over until she’s been satisfied and in that respect, it succeeds. Just a damn shame the developer couldn't turn all that touching into something worth playing.

While the Senran Kagura series has always been rife with fanservice and hyper-sexualization, these moments were at the tail-end of addictive action gameplay, funny character interactions, and classic anime cheesiness. These things are what make up the heart and soul of Senran Kagura, and by removing those and placing full focus on the T&A virgin wish-fulfillment, Senran Kagura Reflexions is just a lifeless alternative to an afternoon with your Chrome Incognito tabs.
