To conclude, Saturday Morning RPG has a unique concept that I haven’t seen in an indie game. The story and writing perfectly fits the 80’s cartoon theme, even down to their faults. It’s packed with easter eggs and things for you to do if you don’t mind repetitive fetch quests and combat. The mix of 2D sprites and 3D polygons is interesting, but for my taste makes the game look dated and amateurish, when actually it runs well on the Switch and is a quality game. Though its price point is quite cheap, I would suggest skipping it or waiting for it to go on sale if you want your 80’s nostalgia trip.

Saturday Morning RPG is a very decent role playing, indie game, however to me it feels mediocre. Regardless I would still recommend people give it a try.

It's a great little game packed with nostalgia and humor. I loved it. Only issue is that its only around 10 to 15 hours of gameplay.

This game is not great. But it was compelling enough with all the 80s references to keep me playing.
And traversing in the game is ... simple but really enjoyable on the hoverboard.
Most of the quests are stupid simple. The battles can get tedious, but theres enough variety of items to make it so you CAN sort of strategize, though you will rarely need to. The 80s style rock

The 80s style rock ballad in episode 5 was awesome.

It was dumb, but i liked it.

There's a lot to love here, given the obvious indication of how much love and passion was put into the development of the game, but I can't help but feel it just isn't all that enjoyable beyond the nostalgic novelties. While it's cool to see references to your favorite kung-fu movies from back in the day, and while the plot is just as cheesy as the time period it's attempting to recreate, the core design of the game feels small in scale and ultimately boring after an hour or so of playing.

Saturday Morning RPG is a great tribute to pop culture from a long time ago with a ton of references that made me smile. This is my favourite version of the game now and you owe it to yourself to check it out if you’re a fan of RPGs and pop culture from the late 80s and early 90s.

Saturday Morning RPG is a wacky take on the genre with a setting that's never been seen before and a battle system that dares to be different. It's a little short which can be somewhat disappointing, but it's also a suitably entertaining adventure.
