Jul 10, 2018Surprisingly good for an Android port. Bought on sale at $5, but I'd say it's probably worth its full price. Runs well, looks pretty, has a healthy variety of gameplay, and reminds one a bit of classic Wave Race 64.
If it looks like something you'd enjoy, you probably will! -

Mar 19, 2021I have to give it 10 because it's still my favourite Racing game on the Switch...while being largely overlooked. Heck even FastRmX gets more coverage. Not perfect, but a lot of fun. Love to come back to this time and time again to get another 3 star run in. Of course it's also a wave racer, a genre I didn't know but the dynamics are pretty awesome. Recommended

Apr 22, 2022ein Kissen drunter, dann geht es geiler; Riptide GP: Renegade ist kein Wave Race, mir gefällt die Nummer sehr gut.

Mar 25, 2022I really enjoyed playing this game and if you are old like me and remember Wave Race 64 you will really enjoy Riptide GP. Looks, sounds and plays great.

Jun 28, 2018It runs and plays remarkably in all modes and retains its great gameplay mechanics and innovations from other versions and is, at time of writing and in the current absence of Wave Race on the Switch, one of the best racing games on the machine that exceeds what one could expect from a game at that price.

Dec 22, 2017Interesting and fun, Riptide GP: Renegade is a show of simplicity well cooked that adapts the game to the hybrid console with all its racing possibilities, multiplayer and also a new control system.

Dec 18, 2017Riptide GP: Renegade is a throwback to racers of the past but performs just like a video game should today. What accounts for a story is just awful, but the careers mode itself provides a well-paced water-based thrill ride.
