Surprisingly good for an Android port. Bought on sale at $5, but I'd say it's probably worth its full price. Runs well, looks pretty, has a healthy variety of gameplay, and reminds one a bit of classic Wave Race 64.

If it looks like something you'd enjoy, you probably will!

Honestly, I'm so surprised about this game! I bought it for a fiver on the e-shop, and damn did I underpay! This is the best Jetski game I've ever played. The story is a bit strange, but funny and the gameplay is actually really sound. The wateranimation is pretty amazing for a budget-title as well. If you can get it for anything under 20£, get it, it's 100% worth it! When I first bootedHonestly, I'm so surprised about this game! I bought it for a fiver on the e-shop, and damn did I underpay! Cons:
Occasionally (very rare) drops a frame in handheld.
    General graphics are Ps3-era

    Pros:
    Fun story
    Great gameplay
    Tricks are fun
    Great physics
    Cheap

I’ve played the origin Wave Race, and Aqua Moto Racing on the PS4. I love racing games and like so many fans of jetski games, so very much wanted something for the switch. I really didn’t like the mobile version of this game, and it was only my craving for a jetski game that let me to try this. I didn’t expect much, having already decided the mobile version just didn’t do it for me, so it was a huge WOW to find that this switch version really hit that sweet spot beautifully!! Even if you are NOT a fan of jetski games but enjoy racers, this is going to be a must buy.

Given this game is based on a mobile port, I was seriously tempted to give it a 10, just because the water and waves feel so incredibly good!

Plus the game is tiny. Less than a gig. It’s just SO worth buying, looks like it runs at a silky smooth 60fps, has tonnes of unlocks and because it feels so good in handling, it’ll keep me happily playing for a long time yet! Highly recommended.

    A seriously underrated racing title.

I got it on sale for $5, and heard it was a port of a mobile title. This is the great thing about advancing technology, though. Even mobile titles can be incredibly well made. In the vein of games like Fast RMX, where beaten races unlocks the potential for new vehicles, this game takes such a formula and adds more dimensions with the ability to upgrade both your craft and your move set.

Especially being such an inexpensive games, I can highly recommend this title for any of you Switch owners looking for a racing fix.

I have to give it 10 because it's still my favourite Racing game on the Switch...while being largely overlooked. Heck even FastRmX gets more coverage. Not perfect, but a lot of fun. Love to come back to this time and time again to get another 3 star run in. Of course it's also a wave racer, a genre I didn't know but the dynamics are pretty awesome. Recommended

ein Kissen drunter, dann geht es geiler; Riptide GP: Renegade ist kein Wave Race, mir gefällt die Nummer sehr gut.

I really enjoyed playing this game and if you are old like me and remember Wave Race 64 you will really enjoy Riptide GP. Looks, sounds and plays great.

It runs and plays remarkably in all modes and retains its great gameplay mechanics and innovations from other versions and is, at time of writing and in the current absence of Wave Race on the Switch, one of the best racing games on the machine that exceeds what one could expect from a game at that price.

Interesting and fun, Riptide GP: Renegade is a show of simplicity well cooked that adapts the game to the hybrid console with all its racing possibilities, multiplayer and also a new control system.

Riptide GP: Renegade is a throwback to racers of the past but performs just like a video game should today. What accounts for a story is just awful, but the careers mode itself provides a well-paced water-based thrill ride.
