Reventure consists of a simple but by no means plain adventure which performs very well on the Nintendo Switch handheld format. While at first the adventure seems to follow a very standard formula, it soon becomes apparent that there's a lot more to Reventure than it looks at first and while the game doesn't stand out for its visual environment, its gameplay mechanics help it carve its own territory amidst its adventure game peers.

Playing more like a puzzler than a 2D action-platformer, the majority of the game's 100 endings will warrant a chuckle or two, especially if you enjoy zany/absurd humor. The methods to unlock each ending aren't quite as engaging, partly due to backtracking but largely due to repeat solutions (i.e. stab this NPC, stab that NPC, stab the next NPC). Although completionists will gorge themselves on this game, most gamers will feel satiated after 30 or so endings. Full Review »
