Resolutiion may wear its influences on its sleeve, but even then it’s managed to carve out a unique identity of its own. You’ll see a little bit of Hyper Light Drifter, Dark Souls, and Metroid here, but the overall package is a wholly original sci-fi experiece that’s great for folks looking to get lost in a bleak futuristic world.

Resolutiion starts off strong, but a lack of direction and some harsh difficulty spikes make it a bit of a flawed gem.

This title isn’t for the new gamer. It’s for someone with experience and knowledge; someone who is willing to put in work to reach the conclusion. If you’re looking for an easy game where you can simply hack and slash your way to victory, Resolutiion isn’t for you. But if you’re up for a challenging adventure to call your own, this could be it. As unforgiving as it is, Resolutiion is beautiful, fun and intriguing – and getting to grips with its mesmerising world is a reward in itself.

It looks fantastic, it sounds great and it rewards thoughtful explorers – unfortunately the fighting system as well as the story can’t keep up with the technical achievements.

Resolutiion is going to appeal to players who can accept the game's vagueness in both the gameplay and story. Players would also need to appreciate wild difficulty swings with a serviceable combat system in a setting that can sometimes be described as a fever dream. It's certainly not going to be a huge hit, but there's enough here to appeal to those who are looking for something different.

Through its lengthy story, Resolutiion provides real moments of awe and beauty. From dark and dingy caves through to soaring heights at the peak of the monolithic buildings, the world is a sight to behold, it’s just a shame that traversing it doesn’t feel any where near as great as it looks. Resolutiion’s snappy, visceral combat does help make that journey slightly more bearable, but you’ll still likely end up wandering in circles trying to find the right path forward.

Resolutiion brings us in a cybernetic world lead by religionism. The fresh and fascinating style succumbs to technical issues which spoil the poetry of the game.

I can only recommend Resolutiion to those who really want a challenge and don’t mind navigating a confusing map. In this savage land, you can only rely on your own skill and patience as you explore its unique and brutal landscapes.

What i enjoyed about Resolutiion is the excellent pixel graphics and the music. The music is superb, probably the best music in a game ever. What i enjoyed about Resolutiion is the excellent pixel graphics and the music. The music is superb, probably the best music in a game ever.

The fighting is intense and have a nice flow to it.

The map is a bit use less and with barely any map markers as to where you have to go made me run up and down for no reason wasting a lot of time

Resolutiion lacks in story, its a jumbled mess , i though when i complete the game it will all make sense but it did not. I still have no clue as to what the game was about, what happened to the world and who my character was. I am left empty, completed the game but no ending to a story that does not exists.

Resolutiion is a fun game worth playing if you can look beyond the story and map issues.
