Basic game that makes you repeat and grind the same linear level over and over again.
When you die you just have to start over the same boring level.
Game has some aspects well made and some details well thought. Overall the game is very flat and boring. Nothing interesting at all and the quality of the game is low. SOme kind of blend between Low polly and realistic, just worse than

Solid shooter with fun abilities and fairly good combat, occasionally buggy but an overall blast for any fan of harder shooter games that wants a soul-ish twist

    should fix this.
The player can rarely catch fire when entering/exiting dungeons in Rhom.
The burning icon that appears when the player comes too close to the entrance to Undying Throne without the Howling Key also appears at this time. "Enemies remaining" count during The Tale of Two Lizzes and The Root Shrine can sometimes be wrong. Blink Token's maximum distance does not seem to be as

"Enemies remaining" count during The Tale of Two Lizzes and The Root Shrine can sometimes be wrong.
Blink Token's maximum distance does not seem to be as far as the tooltip suggests.
Fusion Cannon does not retain mod charge with Mod Refund.
Dragon Heart heal VFX and SFX play before the actual heal takes place.
Consumable animations often do not play correctly for other players as a guest.
Reload animations are sometimes not rendered.
"Time Played" does not log time spent as a guest (intended?)
The Abandoned Throne event required a seemingly unintendedly high number of beetle kills before the Mudling Queen appears.
The player cannot acquire a second Opalescent Shell if one is already in their inventory.
Mud Dogs can spawn behind the player in Cutthroat Channel (intended?)
Blademaws can spawn behind the player in Corsus dungeons (intended?)
If a player's teammates all die while they are experiencing the Terror Margin bug, the game becomes softlocked until the affected player force-closes their game.
Very Good Boy can become stuck in place.
The lobby browser will not show difficulties higher than what the player last played (intended?)
The lobby browser will sometimes show lobbies outside of the player's gear score range.
Krall Mother will sometimes not offer the prompt to shop.
Some attacks can bypass Black Cat Band entirely.
Maybe being attacked twice in very quick succession before the invulnerability is applied?
Carapace Set’s glow when Harden stacks are lost does not appear as a guest.
Root Obstruction health in Ward Prime does not reset between deaths.
Boss cutscene music can sometimes be delayed as a guest.
Totem Father's totems will turn invisible when attacked as a guest.
Hitboxes seem to be weird too, but not sure.
Devastator reticle does not shrink in response to spread reduction.
Canker's **** balls" can rarely become desynced as a guest.
Rusted Amulet can rarely become unbreakable in Fetid Pools.
Voice chat can rarely ignore voice settings and put the player on open mic without their knowledge.
An untextured blue wall can be found in Shackled Canyon.
Vargr's flame trail deals extreme damage, even on Normal (intended?)
Bosses can rarely be seen with a normal enemy health bar above their head.
Dream Eater is not displayed by Hunter’s Mark outline (intended?)
Seems to still apply +20% crit chance.
Scavenger Armor pieces that have been lost during the Magir Test can be reset by quitting to menu and returning to checkpoint.
Enemy spawns in the Reanimator event can be prevented by simply looking at the ground.
The reload sound from other players will sometimes repeat nonstop.
Hive Shot SFX will sometimes persist across areas until the game is reloaded.
Some Brudvaak weapon SFX do not play properly.
Brudvaak or Vargr will be set to a certain HP value after the other dies, which can be lower than what they had to begin with (intended?)
Brudvaak or Vargr will sometimes not render properly in their phase transition cutscenes.
The dungeon before The Harrow is unnamed (intended?)
Certain DoT ticks will appear as red as a host, but white as a guest.
Hive Cannon and Frozen Mist are included as well.
Audio can randomly fade in and out while downed.
The red projectiles in the “Protect the Guardian” event can become overlapped, with as many as five being stacked on top of one another (intended?)
Characters will stop speaking or making noise during emotes after not dying for a certain time.
Experiencing a game crash or a disconnect will occasionally have the player appear in Adventurer’s set in the main menu, or blacked-out entirely.
Joining a game will rarely have the player stuck spectating their own character, unable to move or interact in any way.
They can leave the game, but reconnecting usually results in the same issue. Players can sometimes be thrown out of the Ward 13 World Stone as if they had just died and respawned at a checkpoint. Ward 17 will not load properly for spectating players. Disabling the alarms too quickly in Leto’s Lab will cause the music and sounds to loop until the next area, or death. Game frequently does not respect settings changes after a restart. Game will occasionally function as normal difficulty across any selected difficulty across any number of rerolls. This is resolved with a restart. The player can rarely become completely immune to damage until the game is restarted. Certain stairs and tiny displacements can be vaulted onto, obstructing rolls. Harrow arena is an infamous offender. Gorefist can very rarely become stuck in place, unable to move despite his best efforts. Only encountered once, maybe not a Gorefist-specific issue?

Even after the last few years and the transfer to a handheld platform, it remains an excellent time, and getting hooked on it is dangerously easy.

Remnant: From the Ashes lands on the Nintendo Switch to defend its reputation and fans of soulslike games have plenty to enjoy here, amid Remnant's varied and original areas to explore, weapon customization, and boss fights. Its performance raises some issues, however, as the technical limits of the Nintendo Switch end up constricting Remnant's full potential, but as far as the gameplay experience goes, this is one of the best soulslike games on Nintendo's console.

Remnant: From The Ashes is a unique take on the Souls-like genre, blending 3rd-person shooting gameplay with the challenging combat of a Dark Souls game. It surprisingly works and offers something new to the endless Souls-like games that are out there. The issue with Remnant: From The Ashes is that if you don’t like Souls-like games, this isn’t the game to change your mind. Plus, the Switch port is rough to look at and harder to play due to technical issues. If you absolutely want a unique Souls-like experience and only own a Switch, Remnant: From The Ashes could be worth checking out.
