    Railgrade is a phenomenal little puzzle game all about connecting resources and industries on a far-out space colony with trains. While more limited in scope than similar games such as Factorio or Satisfactory, Railgrade nails an almost Zen-like gameplay loop with its short missions and simple controls. All of the solid gameplay is held up with a motivating progression in difficulty and a charming, diorama-like presentation.

    RAILGRADE is a superb sim that acts more like a logic puzzle game in many of its more elaborate scenarios. So, if you enjoy tinkering with routes and managing resources for optimal efficiency then you'll have a great time with this choo-choo.

    RAILGRADE is a fun, low-key simulation game. They take train sims to a whole new level, though it can get repetitive after a little while. Still, it’s satisfying to play (and watch the trains) that you’ll still get a good amount of hours out of it.

    RAILGRADE is a wonderful mix of railway management and puzzle-solving, with genuinely satisfying railway gameplay, mind-scratching puzzles to solve, and a bangin’ soundtrack. It does get frustrating at times, and it’s near-unplayable on the Switch Lite, but there's still absolutely plenty to like.

    Railgrade doesn’t try to recreate the railway management sim game, but it polishes and bolsters what is there to become one of the better examples of this niche genre. The story, light as it tends to be, pokes fun at late-stage capitalism without it becoming the sole focus of the game. It falls short of greatness due to repetition and a lack of depth in its later hours, but there is still more than enough here for resource management sim fans to not feel like they've been taken for a ride.

There’s more of a focus on the manufacturing chain as opposed to a game like Railway Empire, but not as much of a focus on city building. Rail and train construction is fluid and pleasantly simple. There’s objective focused scenarios - tons of them to keep busy for hours, especially if you’re aiming to get S ratings on all scenarios. Overall a great rail sim which can be as challenging as the rating you want to obtain on scenarios.… Full Review »

The first levels are so much fun, the graphics are fine, and the atmosphere is nice. It looks like the train dioramas you saw in those toy stores as a kid. BUT the timer just destroys it for me. You have to hurry up to get the best grading and unlock new stuff when you just want to take your time and build awesome train worlds. And often you get new objectives mid-level when you already have built rails everywhere, so it's easier to just restart and waste 15 minutes of playtime. Many things to like but the game design ruins it a bit for me unfortunately.… Full Review »
