    Some cruelly missing display modes, and a clear oversight in the infinite mode's design do hold back this compilation to a certain degree on all platforms that it was released on, but, naturally, the Switch will be the only one that can be undocked and taken on the go, giving it a slight edge.

    Ultimately, if you like super challenging shmups and especially if you’re old enough to still call them shoot-‘em-ups, then you’ll find a lot to love here. Likewise if you’re a newcomer to the genre then R-Type Dimensions EX is a great place to start and will hold your hand until you’re ready to let go.

    This is a nice game to pick up on sale. The new graphics and sound are good, but the best thing about this game is the 'infinite' mode whichThis is a nice game to pick up on sale. The new graphics and sound are good, but the best thing about this game is the 'infinite' mode which lets you plough through the levels without having to worry too much about dying. Lots of iconic stages and bosses on offer here, and multiplayer has been added too! It would have been nice if they had included R-Type LEO in this package as well, but fans of R-Type should still be pretty pleased with this.… Full Review »

    Jeder Tropfen, pure Lebensfreude. R-Type hat den vollen Alien Vibe und ist mit Space Invaders einer der einflussreichsten Shooter.
