If you’re worried that this game could give you a headache, then you’re probably right, but you should buy it anyway; you will acclimate, and soon you will find yourself playing it for what feels like 20 minutes only to look out the window and see the sun coming up. I haven’t been this invested in a roguelike since Vampire Survivors, and, like Vampire Survivors, it costs almost no money, and I will probably be playing it forever.

POST VOID takes you on a nightmare-ish trip (wink) to a place where violence is the answer. This addicting and adrenaline-pumping game is a solid addition to Nintendo’s FPS library. It is short yet offers plenty of replayability as void jumping takes a lot of determination, skill and speed. It is a nod at shooters reminiscent of titles from the ‘80s and scratches that itch for something to play in bursts or put in the time to speed through in one go without the need to gamble all of your spare quarters.

Post Void lovingly pays homage to the chaotic first-person shooters of yesteryear, whilst still managing to carve out its own unique identity. Though its affinity for the past holds it back in some regards, any fan of the genre would be a fool to miss out on the adrenaline-fuelled action on offer.
