Un juego que tiene partes de LOL por los items pero que también tiene cosas de héroes of storm, el juego no es pay to win, tal vez fast to win porque todo se puede obtener solamente jugando, las partidas son breves y frenéticas cosa que se agradece

Also it is FREE TO PLAY. Devs have to make money somehow or the game wouldn’t exist. You are supporting the game to grow so stop crying about pay to win because it isn’t. I am not a fan of MOBA games or anything, but to be honest, I loved to play this game. It's very fun, it's free (yeah, it has some microtransactions, but you can easily play the game without them) and it's also
very simple to learn how to play it, because it doesn't have any complex mechanic like those we find on another MOBA games, like LOL or Dota.
I guess it has a lot of potential

Game is amazing. People who write about donation, do not understand some things in-game.
    - Actually you don't need lvl 30 item for playing, lvl 20 is enough 'coz you will get maximum main stat from it at level 20 already.
    - You can't buy all Pokemons from the start just like you can't buy all champions in league of legends at the start. Yes here it is a bit more difficult. But it's fun

It's a great game and if you focus on one pokemon, you can be high in the rankings quickly without paying for anything. This is not a p2w game. You pay if you want to develop more Pokemon.

I am surprised by the complaints. You have a lot of fun and a lot of challenges for free. You want more? Pay. It's a great offer for me.

This game is totally fun. There might be many people saying that this game is pay to win but it actually isn't. The impact of held items are not that difference between lv20 and 30, what requires more is individuals' skill of understanding moba to win the game.

I am even though that I am rating this game a 10 their is one issue. I wished that their was Pichu and Raichu because They added Pikachu in the game and when a match starts. All pokemon start as the first stage and you have to Score points or battle Pokemon for the final evolution stage. But Pikachu Starts out as Pikachu and not Pichu. I get he is the mascot and all but it makes no sense that all of the other pokemon who is at their final stage start out as the first stage but not Pikachu, and he should be a Raichu because it makes even more sense. Same with Snorlax and Muchlax. Other than that this game came out like three weeks ago writing this so I understand that. Expand

    ---The Good---

Pokémon Unite's gameplay is a blast. It is tight-controlling with a streamlined set of options, and is easily the most approachable MOBA that I have yet played. The number of moves and items that a player can use is more limited than in most other MOBAs, which has caused some online to call this "baby's first MOBA." ---The Good---

Pokémon Unite's gameplay is a blast. It is tight-controlling with a streamlined set of options, and is easily the most approachable MOBA that I have yet played.

The number of moves and items that a player can use is more limited than in most other MOBAs, which has caused some online to call this "baby's first MOBA." These critics miss the point: Pokémon is a franchise that serves to introduce its audience to any given genre with simplified mechanics in a user-friendly way. Most Pokémon games are in the JRPG genre, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon is a Roguelite, Pokkén Tournament is a fighting game, etc. In this regard, Pokémon Unite excels.

I particularly enjoy the time limits. I love knowing (and being able to control) how long my gameplay sessions will be. No longer will I be stuck in a 40-minute-long run trying to destroy the last of the zones.

Because Pokémon Unite is based on such a beloved franchise, millions of people are eager to give it a shot. I have played MOBAs for years, and never have I had the joy of such a short wait in an online queue.

The communication in Pokémon Unite is also streamlined. There is no way to voicechat with strangers, or even type them a message. You are able to call out specific messages via a pre-built list of options, so you don't miss out on any critical collaboration tools in this team-built game. However, the lack of extensive online interaction means that I know that my games will never end up with any toxic slurs or rants. I acknowledge that many people prefer full voice chat in their multiplayer games, but I have always enjoyed being able to control the toxicity in my life and the tradeoff has always been worth it to me.

    ---The Bad---

As great as the gameplay is, the rest of the game's interface is terrible. In the menus, sometimes trying to move the cursor left or right doesn't register or otherwise has a lag, as if each movement in the menus is sent to a server. Looking for specific things may not always be intuitive: to change a Pokémon's held item or moveset you must be in a screen that means you are about to battle.

Most egregious of all are the multiple types of meaningless quests and activities and currencies that it throws at the player. It seems like the game's developers copy/pasted its monetization practices from the other games that they made, namely League of Legends and Arena of Valor. The pay-to-win complaint is valid, though (in my opinion) overblown (especially since the nerfing that the developers did to what money can buy in-game).

    ---Conclusion---

Pokémon Unite has solid potential for being the most widely-consumed MOBA to-date. People have shown that they are hungry for Pokémon content of all types. Hopefully Tencent will one day realize that they don't need to make such efforts trying to trick us into paying money, as we are all eager to throw at least a few bucks to a solid Pokémon experience that we respect. If that happens, Pokémon Unite will be one of the best Pokémon games. Until then, it's worth trying out, but SOMETHING in it will frustrate you at least a little.

The game gives you a lot of free stuff, which in fact you can buy things, but it is not, I do mean it's not P2W. There's no game breaking characters nor holdable items, or even clothes that boost your performance in anyway if you pay to win. Honestly if you are dedicated to the game, and have a group and are yourself good, then you'll have a good time. Literally I see a few players complain that some characters are better, which is true, but for a game like this, you're only as good as the characters. Not gonna lie Pikachu is abusive, but mostly things are ok with the other mons. Balancing does need to scaled, example: play styles, rank, streaks, etc. This can easily be a MOBA players go to if you like league of legends, and grew up with pokemon as myself, and honestly I like the game and played maybe 70 ranked matches right now and honestly I know I'll sink in more time, because I am enjoying it and the grind is real, but the satisfaction of getting stuff without actually putting money into it is nice. The only things that arent free are certain characters, clothes, items, and altered skins. If a skin boosts stats, or clothes please show me proof I haven't seen it. Also like I said, if you're truly good then it shouldn't matter if you have it all or not, because you don't get much back from having everything, just upgraded items (which can be grinded towards) and pokemon(which can also be grinded towards, but takes a while. The biggest issue I see is just pokemon selection, and quote on quote builds, I've never heard such nonsense. Look, if a items fit the characteristics of the role you play then equip them, like don't listen to builds or others, it's other people who are truly ruining the fun, with what they say, and honestly it's those people who have probably put in $100+ in the game and can't justify it, I know I couldn't.

Unite is not only welcoming for new players but it lets people who have day jobs feel as though the can be competitive in the ranked lobbies without having to sacrifice over 90 minutes to play one game. Those that say this game is pay to win, or casual only are not looking at what the game can provide for the average gamer at large.

If you are a hardcore League player you will not like this game. Everyone is on an even playing field at all times whether they are new or old, because of the "unite license" system that allows you to permanently retain specific Pokémon using either free in game currency, which is extremely easy to come buy, or buy paying for it with real money which is not required in the slightest. the vocabulary for the roles and classes of characters have been dumbed down so that you can pick this game up and instantly know what your job is, and the lack of custom chat feature makes it so you are not able to yell at the people you are playing with.

This game at its core is a MOBA for all people, and is a great step towards how games should be balanced at launch. If you want to play the next highly competitive E-sport game this is not it by any means, but if you and your friends want something that you can play as a team no matter what your group skill level is this is certainly a fantastic choice and one that will continue to grow over the coming months as it comes to mobile devices as well as the Switch.

    - The characters have distinct roles but the choice in movesets allows for enough variety
    - The controls are relatively easy, especially if you've had experience with the right stick aiming.

BUT....it's going to cost you in the long run. It's already apparent that Absol, Alohan Ninetales, Pikachu and a couple of others are much better on launch. Unlocking better items costs currency. You won't be able to unlock all of these straight away without grinding so you will be forced to pay money. You have to decide how much the game should cost you, will you get enough enjoyment out of it for the same cost as a triple A game and pay accordingly?

Tencent has a good product on their hands, but like all MOBAs the introduction new characters and balance patches will determine its future

I can tell you though that my ranked match losses have very little to do with the level of my items and much more to do with team play and each individual understanding what to do in order to achieve victory through out the match.

All this was accomplished by utilizing the free tickets to boost my coins/battle points earned and upgrade items. I have a total of 101 matches so its not like I did nothing but play Unite for two weeks. Quit review bombing because you see micro transactions and learn how to get good without them. A great game... that sadly is a painful experience to the vast majority of its players.

While Unite is virtually perfect on paper, the reality is that its Ranked Mode is UNPLAYABLE by yourself. And the blame is all on the developers.
This happens because of 2 very precise reasons:

    1. The Roster. 14 out of the 31 playable characters are Junglers.
This means that, every single game, 2 or 3 players will fight for the Jungle position. Both during character selection and during the actual game.
    2. While player can be reported in Unite, they cannot be reported for any real motivation besides AFK.
This means that those players who are cluelessly forcing their team to lose due to very bad decisions (like stealing from their own team's Jungle) won't know they made a mistake, won't learn from it, won't stop ruining everyone else's experience for no reason at all.
The developer needs to address this issue.keeping The developers don't acknowledge this issue, and are about to release yet another Jungler.

This game has the potential to be the next LOL, and even surpass it sdue to how popular the Pokémon franchise is. But we're reaching a turning point...
Tini, it's make or break now.

Pokemon Unite is a free game almost like the League of Legend system. It is first accessible and remains visually beautiful. Unfortunately, we would have liked more of a Pokemon franchise than a LoL-like. That said, it remains pleasant to play and contrary to what we can say, pay-to win is not too present for this game without too much ambition.

Amazing idea gameplay, but KO system is ridiculous. You can do 4000 damage and someone can come up and do 300 and take the kill and KO EXP. You can be a better player and do so much damage but have your kills taken and then youre at a disadvantage in comparison. KO system shouldnt be whoever got last hit, but whoever did the most damage OBVIOUSLY

On the other, it forgoes its generosity by hosting pay-to-win elements, an unbalanced initial roster and poor performance both in connectivity and rendering for its intended console, The Nintendo Switch.

It's a refreshing take on the MOBA genre which allows long-time Pokémon fans to see some of their favorite Pokémon in a new, fun-to-bask-in light. In its pursuit of simplicity (probably intended for a younger audience) shorter play sessions and less decision-making lend it a more relaxing feeling.

Consequentially, it grows repetitive at a much faster pace than other titles in the genre. It's still in its infancy. As is, it offers a beautifully coated alternative for fans of the franchise. For anyone else, it showcases a barebones product with a lot of hindered potential.

    Pros:

    - A robust initial roster with varied gameplay for Pokémon fans that is sure to grow with time.
    - An elegant item and 'battle item' system that marries flavor and function nicely.
    - A more relaxing kind of MOBA you can "play on the go".

    Cons:

    - Simplistic systems grow tiring really quick.
    - Poor performance and connectivity taint an otherwise entertaining experience.
    - Its current pay-to-win systems are detrimental for anyone looking to immerse themselves in a more competitive way.

P.S. Zeraoras have a tendency to perform infinitely better on opposing teams.

As a MOBA it has a lot of potential. Probably worst thing about it is the pay to fast held item system. Besides that, graphics and mechanics are cool and enjoyable. It's superb for casuals because of the fixed 10 minutes length matches, but lacks a competitive factor in a meh elo system and the held item issue.

This is a decent MOBA, but there's a lot of room for improvement. It gets pretty repetitive pretty fast since all the arenas either look the same or they are the same, it's hard to tell. There's not a lot of depth in the Pokemon you play as, and the COM controlled Pokemon you beat to get points to score with is pretty lacking in depth as well.

It feels like there's not much to this.

It feels like there's not much to this. It's good for killing 10 minutes or so, but even for a free to play game it's lacking. It needs more, and it could really do more is the sad part. There's hundreds of Pokemon, but only a couple dozen to pick from. Of course you do have to unlock most of them, so you feel even more limited in choice early on.

The controls are fine enough. The gameplay isn't too terrible, but nothing remarkable either. It's like the developers were shooting for the moon but landed in Key West, Florida. There's a lot more to this franchise in terms of Pokemon and terrain to do battle on. Tencent and Pokemon could do way better here.

    Two abilities

In a moba style game, I like chaos. I like team fights. And Pokemon Unite took deliberate steps to be “just like” other mobas, leaving its niche of essentially what was a straight up team-fight for 8 minutes (out of 10 minute match) of wholesome fun. I wouldn’t be surprised if the next step was to lengthen games because it has deliberately slowed down farming and scoring. Now there always has to be one person in each lane so you can’t fully team-fight in most cases. The result? People sit in their goal zones and deadlock the lane—there’s nothing to farm, and you can’t leave your goal zone because if you do—you get hit and they heal, or worse, they score while you get a tiny bit of farm. Deadlocked lanes aren’t the player’s fault; this is what the game has pushed for—to add a lot more idle time in games.

This game feels a lot more like League of Legends, and I’m more likely to go play that than play Thea Sky Ruins because there are more characters, better skins (for the same price), and more abilities—which leads to a greater variety of gameplay. Pokemon Unite will never be able to compete against other Mobas if it copies them because less moves = less variability per Pokemon.

To be clear, I mastered the game and made it to high level masters. I know what I’m doing and how to win. I loved Remoat Stadium. It was clunky and frustrating, but also a lot of fun. There are things the game is working on—like the reporting system—but I’ll be taking a break until, if ever, Tencent decides to make changes to the game to make it feel fast paced again.

The money practices have changed significantly as well. Skins were always expensive, and I’ve actually bought a few to support the game back in Remoat Stadium. Players can earn about 3000 coins per week grinding the game. The last two Pokemon released cost 14k. Now, Pokemon are getting harder to purchase with in game currency and you can’t buy new Pokemon with in game currency for a week after they’re released. It’s crossed a line of ethics in my opinion. You want me playing your game because it makes it easier to matchmake, giving a better experience for everyone. When I like your game I will spend money on the Pokemon I like. Do NOT try to frustrate me into spending hundreds of dollars. That’s not promoting a game, that’s just disgusting.

The game itself would serve as a fantastic introduction to the MOBA genre, with matches more simplified and concise than other MOBAs on market, allowing the player to grasp the core concept of the game and the genre at large quite intuitively. The introduction of chooseable movesets and item builds in the pre-game lobby lends an interesting depth to the strategy of the game, and having it done at the start of the game removes a lot of the tedium of menu navigation during the games themselves.

However, as has been stated by numerous users before me, the predatory monetisation and addiction tactics clearly utilised by the company are morally deplorable, particularly given Pokemon's appeal with younger audiences and the accessibility of the game itself allowing for young audiences to participate in the game. The game is rife with monetarily complex and predatory micro-transactions, be it for new Pokemon to play, new cosmetics, or even the aforementioned items which provide a direct advantage for any players seeking to play the game more competitively. To heavily monetise a game without any regulations or age requirements is completely irresponsible, and quite frankly revolting. I've long since lost faith in the Pokemon company's commitment to publishing quality products rather than relying solely on the appeal of the branding, but to see them stoop to such blatant levels of money-grubbery disgusts me to a point I can't ignore, and I'm inclined not to support the game at all. I only hope the negative backlash might prompt the Pokemon company and Tencent to make more ethical adjustments to their monetisation scheme, as a truly welcoming and enjoyable game does still exist beneath it all.

On a not-so-good side, we have the fact that the game itself doesn't tell you which pokemon uses Sp. Attack and which one doesn't. Thankfully some websites got you covered, still is a big fail here.

Another not-so-bad thing is that matches sometimes feel so QUIET, the announcer needs to be more active in my opinion. Additionally, the menu has some slight lags.

The real problem comes with the microtransactions method. If those were like a regular MOBA in which you pay only for cosmetics or experience boosts or the battler pass It wouldn't have been too much of a deal, however, here you can pay2win which is really discouraging. MOBAS are games about skill and strategy not about how much is your credit card's limit.

So basically whoever gets Zapdos runs it into your spawn and gets double points immediately ALWAYS resulting in a win. I don't think I've ever seen a team win Zapdos and lose yet, they'd literally have to go afk.
The Pokemon to choose from are kind of limited and some are 1000% better than others, like Snorlax. When it's a new game and it's free there's some things you can excuse as they work on it and patch it, but really? Nobody who play tested the game saw the Zapdos problem? You could literally afk the first 8 minutes of the game, come back and steal Zapdos and then xd you win. It's ridiculous.

The energy tank limit is quite an unnecessary cash grab as well. Quite disappointed but to be expected from a free to play game.
Update: They have kind of made it easier to get your items to level 30 now but they have added more very expensive skins.

Honestly, every PROFESSIONAL MOBA player in the freaking world could have told you that balanced matchmaking is #1 for a making a MOBA game enjoyable. Hell it’s imperative to make any competitive game enjoyable, and last I checked, this is not Nintendo’s first competitive game. So why is it, you made the simple and brilliant decision, to pair solo queue players up against full squads of players who are partied up and communicating? That’s like having a game of dodgeball where one team has to wear blindfolds. STUPID. How did this even get approved? Was this even considered in the 2 weeks you took to plan how this game would work? This is one the BIGGEST barriers standing in between this game being 10/10 and the 3.7 user rating that it has. This and properly training players HOW A MOBA WORKS need to be PRIORITY #1 for the next update. You have YouTube, you have professional MOBA players, you have reviews. F the skins for 1 bloody month. And fix this game. Expand

For what it's worth the gameplay is alright, not good but I didn't suck, I just feel like once one team started winning there was no way of coming back, also all the pay to win stuff yadda yadda.

The 3 is because I throughly enjoy this game, and I want to give it a higher score. But it's predatory microtransactions, combined with pay-to-win, just butchers the game experience.

And ofc, the one team that gets Zapdos are most likely to win. Nerf!

What do I see after reaching Expert 4 (Gold 2 in LoL) rank?

-Item level gaps start to get very noticing when facing stronger enemies, which is ****

-In Expert (Gold) rank, yes RIGHT THERE you see how people play like literally Silver 4/below lol players who should be learning the basics of ranked matchs, even low Bronze (no map awareness, no clue about when to do/ignore objectives, when to def, score etc. If you have negative jungler gap, you are more likely to lose). It gets even worse when you see your partner in lane to go against the opponent with more lvl/moves. WTF, how don't people in Gold rank start playing serious? They LOVE to gift Zapdos in the Endgame even if you are winning to throw the game for fk sake and never watch opponents trying to score. (No complaining about the lack of skill, much audience will be new with this game BUT... HAVING THEM IN EXPERT RANK IS POINTLESS! LET THEM LEARN THE GAME! IF YOU PUT THEM WITH PPL WITH SOME MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE THEY WILL SUFFER AND WE WILL SUFFER BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO LEARN AT THEIR OWN PATH AND WE NEED MORE EXPERIENCED TEAM MATES!) --> THIS will take me to the next point.

-In that mentioned rank you can come across with... Beginners and Greats... (Bronze and Silver) and Elite or Above (Platinum+), does that mean... YOU HAVE TO FACE MUCH STRONGER OPPONENTS WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF HAVING MUCH WEAKER ALLIES? DO YOU EVEN REALIZE HOW COINFLIP IS THAT?

-Balance sucks. Assassin/Speedster class is as bad as in LoL, because they have too much damage or escapes. Their job is to kill a squishy target not to wipe the entire team (Zeraora/Absol...) furthermore, when you see Blastoise doing so much damage BEING A TANK and nullifying you skill giving you FULL COOLDOWNS you start to feel how something is NOT RIGHT. Balance team seems a bit drunk. Even the damned Charizard who is curiously placed in low tier, the generic basic edgy guy because yes pokemon. It gets annoying when uses ult and gets literally busted for like 10 secs. In any scenary it's plain ****

As a conclussion... it could be great but is not. As almost everything in this rotten genre where if you aren't Gold+ you don't worth a **** for people. I saw the difference because I've been between Silver and Gold ranks in LoL, how do people act and the community is a very important aspect of such games, this is not gonna be different so if you don't like clasist and egoplayers better stay away. Better play Pokémon D/P/PT BW1/2, Conquest, Colosseum or Explorers of Sky. These are the peak of the franchise in content and quality. Save your suffering, MOBA genre is not meant to be fun, even if you win.

Edit: I changed my score after learning just how bad the freemium aspects are. A fully kitted out item set gives a player such a ridiculous advantage that it trivializes the game. This could have been a chance for a pokemon game with pure fun gameplay without any baggage, but I guess that was just too good to be true.

For a MOBA, it's very accessible. Controls are very easy and the moment-to-moment gameplay is simple to understand. Definitely made with children in mind. The unique mechanics are a bit odd and have some balancing issues. The game favors steamrolling, if a group of enemies win a teamfight and all score, they instantly get to full health and there isn't much your team can do about it.

The mechanics are well-explained but the meta and objectives are poorly directed. Nobody's really sure where to go and it's easy to forget that you don't make any progress defeating enemies without getting points and scoring, which can be unfairly difficult if you're pushed back by a steamrolling team. Especially so with the 10-minute timer, which makes the game more casual but makes comebacks very rare.

Outside the gameplay, there's classic Tencent scummy freemium practices. The game entices you with beginner quests that dry up and rewards will become scarce. I expect opinion of the game to go down sharply after the 14th day of its existence.

The map is imbalanced. Drednaw is way more impactful than Rotom. Making bottom more important than top. Zapdos straight up wins the match if you get it, making the 8 minutes before Zapdos irrelevant.
AND the pokemon themselves are imbalanced, some pokemon suck some are OP which is typical, but for christ sake I don't expect the game to be balanced but pick your poison not all of em.

    Rampant AFKers and leavers
Horrible monetization, weekly cap on how much in-game currency can be earned to basically force players to by the Pokemon that they want to play.

I do want to like the game, I'm an avid pokemon fan, I play a lot of competitive VGC and love the games even some of the worse ones, I also played league of legends for over a decade. So, I thought I would love this game but its obvious Tencent is just looking for some more pennies for their pockets, and don't have their heart in this at all.

Overall, Pokémon UNITE is a MOBA with a lot of potential. It’s already great as a casual game with friends, but I believe with some tweaking to Zapdos and removal of the “pay for held item upgrades” option, a strong competitive MOBA lives in Pokémon UNITE. Until then, it’s hard to call it much more than an above-average entry in the crowded MOBA space.

Pokémon Unite is the first attempt at creating a MOBA with the pocket monsters – and I must admit it’s a successful one. The game is fast and intense, but also easy to get a grip on. I don’t expect it to take the esports scene by storm, but it’s very enjoyable and works great in a doctor’s waiting room or on the bus. As for me, I can’t force myself to stop playing Pokémon Unite and hope the developers will keep updating it. [10/2021, p.61]
