    Although very perfectible, this game has a HUGE potential if The Pokémon Company and Tencent do the things right. The battles are very fun and enjoyable and while I think they are a bit short (just 10 min), I appreciate are not that long or potentially eternal like in League of Legends for example (30+ min est.). Of course there is the thing with the microtransactions that many peopleAlthough very perfectible, this game has a HUGE potential if The Pokémon Company and Tencent do the things right. Of course there is the thing with the microtransactions that many people dislike (me personally, it bothers me but not enough to give the game a bad score) but as far as I could see, mostly are related to cosmetic like skins and stuff like that.

    This is a decent MOBA, but there's a lot of room for improvement. It gets pretty repetitive pretty fast since all the arenas either look the same or they are the same, it's hard to tell. There's not a lot of depth in the Pokemon you play as, and the COM controlled Pokemon you beat to get points to score with is pretty lacking in depth as well.

    It feels like there's not much to this.    This is a decent MOBA, but there's a lot of room for improvement. It gets pretty repetitive pretty fast since all the arenas either look the same or they are the same, it's hard to tell. There's not a lot of depth in the Pokemon you play as, and the COM controlled Pokemon you beat to get points to score with is pretty lacking in depth as well.

    It feels like there's not much to this. It's good for killing 10 minutes or so, but even for a free to play game it's lacking. It needs more, and it could really do more is the sad part. There's hundreds of Pokemon, but only a couple dozen to pick from. Of course you do have to unlock most of them, so you feel even more limited in choice early on.

    The controls are fine enough. The gameplay isn't too terrible, but nothing remarkable either. It's like the developers were shooting for the moon but landed in Key West, Florida. There's a lot more to this franchise in terms of Pokemon and terrain to do battle on. Tencent and Pokemon could do way better here.    … Expand

    A lot of things in this game don't happen instantly all of the time, sometimes a move, scoring, or getting a shield from your goal happen later than they should and small things like that can do a lot of damage in a MOBA. I've also had many times where I use my ult and it doesn't go off, but it gets put on ful cool down. This Bug is game losing and makes me consider whether playing rankedA lot of things in this game don't happen instantly all of the time, sometimes a move, scoring, or getting a shield from your goal happen later than they should and small things like that can do a lot of damage in a MOBA.     While the game has good gameplay and can be fun, The reason it's not good overall is the fact that it has too many mircotransations. Something I don't like. It's not worth recommending this game because of this.

    The game is fun. The outfits are cute. But there is one complaint I have. It's missing Ledian with maid outfit. I wonder why they have not added this. This should have been the first thing they had thought of. Why they did not add Ledian maid outfit, I will never know.

    Game almost perfect. Rank sucks. You get mixed up with new ones making it hard to rank up alone. They should only get players teamed up with the same rank.

    It a pay to win game. I never pay money on free games. With real money you can buy held items and up grade them. The ranked & standard have one same map and lasts for 10 mins. The 5 mins quick match's have 3 small maps change once per day. I earn small amount of coins for each battle that I can buy Pokemon with but they are too much. The roster just have over 15 Pokémon. On the other, it forgoes its generosity by hosting pay-to-win elements, an unbalanced initial roster and poor performance both in connectivity and rendering for its intended console, The Nintendo Switch.

    It's a refreshing    Pokemon Unite is a very 'middle-of-the-road' game. On one hand, it is a free game that highlights a lot of what makes Pokémon such a creative and successful franchise. On the other, it forgoes its generosity by hosting pay-to-win elements, an unbalanced initial roster and poor performance both in connectivity and rendering for its intended console, The Nintendo Switch.

    It's a refreshing take on the MOBA genre which allows long-time Pokémon fans to see some of their favorite Pokémon in a new, fun-to-bask-in light. In its pursuit of simplicity (probably intended for a younger audience) shorter play sessions and less decision-making lend it a more relaxing feeling.

    Consequentially, it grows repetitive at a much faster pace than other titles in the genre. It's still in its infancy. As is, it offers a beautifully coated alternative for fans of the franchise. For anyone else, it showcases a barebones product with a lot of hindered potential.

    Pros:

    - A robust initial roster with varied gameplay for Pokémon fans that is sure to grow with time.
    - An elegant item and 'battle item' system that marries flavor and function nicely.
    - A more relaxing kind of MOBA you can "play on the go".

    Cons:

    - Simplistic systems grow tiring really quick.
    - Poor performance and connectivity taint an otherwise entertaining experience.
    - Its current pay-to-win systems are detrimental for anyone looking to immerse themselves in a more competitive way.

    P.S. Zeraoras have a tendency to perform infinitely better on opposing teams.    … Expand

    В игре нет русского как и в каждой еб@ной игре про покемонов, ну а так игра вполне Дота, да, пойдет, и в данный момент там есть бесполезный батл пас, кейсы и куча покемон целых 10 да, спасибо, нет легендарных, но они не нужны, сделали бы хотя бы битву легенд или типа того, и того нет, для или поставили их как боса для фарма чего-то (да я знаю что это боссы в центре карты, но это же тупо, сВ игре нет русского как и в каждой еб@ной игре про покемонов, ну а так игра вполне Дота, да, пойдет, и в данный момент там есть бесполезный батл пас, кейсы и куча покемон целых 10 да, спасибо, нет легендарных, но они не нужны, сделали бы хотя бы битву легенд или типа того, и того нет, для или поставили их как боса для фарма чего-то (да я знаю что это боссы в центре карты, но это же тупо, с него же нельзя же ничего фармить кроме ебаных покеболов), короче как для игры из серии покемонов, для нее 5 из 10 ахуеть какая оценка… Expand

    Un buen spin-off de Pokémon pero con excesivos micropagos, una estabilidad de personajes/Pokémon bastante dudable y un seguimiento más que cuestionable. Sin embargo es muy divertido de jugar y cumple con su cometido

    As exciting as it was to see this game announced, it sadly didn't provide the competitive nature that most players hoped for. A majority of actions taken during the matches are futile considering one feature that takes place in the last two minutes decides most of the points earned in a match. Casually, the game is a fun time and is a good free to play experience with friends.     A great game... that sadly is a painful experience to the vast majority of its players. While Unite is virtually perfect on paper, the reality is that its Ranked Mode is UNPLAYABLE by yourself.     A great game... that sadly is a painful experience to the vast majority of its players.

    While Unite is virtually perfect on paper, the reality is that its Ranked Mode is UNPLAYABLE by yourself. And the blame is all on the developers.
    This happens because of 2 very precise reasons:

    1. The Roster. 14 out of the 31 playable characters are Junglers.
    This means that, every single game, 2 or 3 players will fight for the Jungle position. Both during character selection and during the actual game.
    2. While player can be reported in Unite, they cannot be reported for any real motivation besides AFK.
    This means that those players who are cluelessly forcing their team to lose due to very bad decisions (like stealing from their own team's Jungle) won't know they made a mistake, won't learn from it, won't stop ruining everyone else's experience for no reason at all.
    The developer needs to address this issue.keeping The developers don't acknowledge this issue, and are about to release yet another Jungler.

    This game has the potential to be the next LOL, and even surpass it sdue to how popular the Pokémon franchise is. But we're reaching a turning point...

    Pokemon Unite is a free game almost like the League of Legend system. It is first accessible and remains visually beautiful. Unfortunately, we would have liked more of a Pokemon franchise than a LoL-like. That said, it remains pleasant to play and contrary to what we can say, pay-to win is not too present for this game without too much ambition.

Tras haber jugado las dos primeras temporadas del juego, he podido observar en la jugabilidad de este MOBA una gran influencia del azar para ganar cada partida, siendo injusto el equipo vencedor de la partida en numerosas ocasiones. Zapdos, el boss que sale en los últimos dos minutos de la partida, está muyPokemon Unite es un juego "free to play" disfrutable pero con bastantes problemas. Tras haber jugado las dos primeras temporadas del juego, he podido observar en la jugabilidad de este MOBA una gran influencia del azar para ganar cada partida, siendo injusto el equipo vencedor de la partida en numerosas ocasiones. Zapdos, el boss que sale en los últimos dos minutos de la partida, está muy desbalanceado, y este enemigo provoca que el equipo que le da el último golpe es el que suele acabar ganando la partida, lo que provoca que los otros 8 minutos anteriores que dura la partida sean prácticamente innecesarios para la victoria. Otro punto negativo a destacar es la cantidad de tipos de divisas hay en el juego y los incentivos que hay constantemente a comprar gemas (además de los precios abusivos de algunas skins). No considero que el juego sea un pay to win pero sí que hay cierta ventaja para quienes pagan por gemas, ya que se pueden potenciar los objetos equipados. Además, muchos pokémon nuevos que han ido saliendo repiten movimientos de pokémon que ya estaban en el juego, siendo esto poco original y repetitivo. Cabe destacar que actualmente solo hay tres modos de juego, muy pocos para un juego de este tipo. Habiendo resaltado los problemas más importantes, el juego también tiene puntos positivos como su divertida y simple jugabilidad (lo que hace el juego mucho más accesible que otros de este género), la cantidad de pokémon que hay (que está aumentando considerablemente con el tiempo), la comunidad sana del juego (gracias al sistema de puntos de deportividad y al chat simplificado), el sistema de elección de movimientos al subir de nivel, la corta duración de las partidas y el rendimiento técnico (que suele funcionar correctamente). En Switch va generalmente bien en el apartado técnico (en móvil depende del que se use) y en el apartado artístico no destaca demasiado. La música no está mal pero se repite mucho y acaba cansando. Recomiendo el juego a quienes quieran jugar a un MOBA muy simplificado y a quienes les guste Pokémon. 6,6/10

    Amazing idea gameplay, but KO system is ridiculous. You can do 4000 damage and someone can come up and do 300 and take the kill and KO EXP. You can be a better player and do so much damage but have your kills taken and then youre at a disadvantage in comparison. KO system shouldnt be whoever got last hit, but whoever did the most damage OBVIOUSLY

    Under the right circumstances, this game is really fun and addicting, but it has plenty of problems that need worked on, like a pretty poor system for dealing with disconnected players, and of course the microtransactions, but still, get in a good match with competent players, and the game's fun as hell lol.

    As a MOBA it has a lot of potential. Probably worst thing about it is the pay to fast held item system. Besides that, graphics and mechanics are cool and enjoyable. It's superb for casuals because of the fixed 10 minutes length matches, but lacks a competitive factor in a meh elo system and the held item issue.

    It is a fun game, but of you play solo it can be so frustrating. You can be in the lead a whole game and all of the sudden when the final and most important objective shows up, your team is nowhere to be found. Resulting in the enemy team flipping the game in their favor.

    Not that bad of a game, but it's clearly a cash grab, having a bunch of popups whenever opening the game.

    Overall, Pokémon UNITE is a MOBA with a lot of potential. It’s already great as a casual game with friends, but I believe with some tweaking to Zapdos and removal of the “pay for held item upgrades” option, a strong competitive MOBA lives in Pokémon UNITE. Until then, it’s hard to call it much more than an above-average entry in the crowded MOBA space.

    Pokémon Unite is the first attempt at creating a MOBA with the pocket monsters – and I must admit it’s a successful one. The game is fast and intense, but also easy to get a grip on. I don’t expect it to take the esports scene by storm, but it’s very enjoyable and works great in a doctor’s waiting room or on the bus. As for me, I can’t force myself to stop playing Pokémon Unite and hope the developers will keep updating it. [10/2021, p.61]
