Good game for people who like platformers / adventure / puzzle games like INSIDE, Little Nightmares and Black the fall, but not as good as the ones mentioned before. I like the science fiction theme, the visuals are good and the planet itself looks very interesting and colorful, specially at night where everything has a neon light glow. kinda like Avatar. gameplay is ok. not theGood game for people who like platformers / adventure / puzzle games like INSIDE, Little Nightmares and Black the fall, but not as good as the ones mentioned before. I would recommend it on sale if you enjoy this kind of games. Expand

I bought it for 2$ on ehsop because it was on sale, I knew it wasn't a great game but I'm a fan of platform games.

I didn't finish it because there are some points in the game where you just don't know what to do for several reasons : -Gameplay is clunky, unprecise and somewhat random (which is unacceptable for a platform game) -They favored a ''immersive'' world, putting stuff on

I didn't finish it because there are some points in the game where you just don't know what to do for several reasons :

-Gameplay is clunky, unprecise and somewhat random (which is unacceptable for a platform game)
-They favored a ''immersive'' world, putting stuff on different plans on the screen (first front, and background), but the first front keeps getting in your way and interfere with what you are seeing on screen, and it sometimes happen during crucial moments.
-The story is blend, they honestly could have hire a writer to just put a small synopsis in the game so it would feel less like another walking simulator.

Yes, the graphics and universe is astounding. But I am PLAYING (lol) a videogame, not a movie. It would be cool that people that make game (even if I know it is a lot of work and extremely hard) would prioritize more the ''gaming'' aspect than the video one.

Because what's the point of playing a beautiful game if the story is blend, the gameplay clunky and the challenge somewhat unfair/unfun (because of the bad controls) ? With better choices, this game could have been great and it's always sad to see a game being wasted potential, since you put so much effort, time and money into it. :)

C'est plutôt "joli" (Pour une version switch), en revanche, c'est assez plat et redondant.
Le jeu a une durée de vie d'environ 2~3 heures. J'avais hâte de le terminer.

Planet Alpha is a truly special title. It’s gorgeous to look at, the puzzles are clever, and the challenges will give gamers a strong sense of reward. While the lack of direction and visibility difficulties will grate on the nerves of some gamers, it’s a truly an impressive experience on Switch. Many developers try to replicate the old school charm of titles like Metroid, but few manage to capture that charm while also making something that feels unique. Planet Alpha is very much an experience all its own, and gamers would be hard pressed to find a more unique and vibrant platformer on eShop.

Planet Alpha reminds us of Limbo and Inside. The gameplay is similar if you think how these games use platform elements and puzzles to drop you in a world without giving you any context. Still it’s a great game with lots of details and a great atmosphere.

Beautiful, serene, and joyous, Planet Alpha is a 2D puzzle-platformer that's optimistic outlook on space travel won't fail to keep pushing you forward.
