Pinstripe is a game that isn’t without its problems. For me, what kept me going was the story and the characters. It feels like it’s a game that accomplishes exactly what it sets out to do and doesn’t try to be anything more. Its simple gameplay might put some off, as will some of the dodgy design flaws such as the backtracking that takes place, but stick with it and you will find an adventure that will stay with you for a long time to come.

If Pinstripe were a film, I'd watch it and be glad that I did. As a game, it feels a bit underwhelming but not enough to take away from its powerful themes and character-driven albeit abstract story.

This game is very short. But also just the right length. I can't believe it was made by just one person.

The story/atmosphere was very dark and sad and a couple revelations gave me actual chills. The game consists of a number of puzzles that had a decent amount of variety. There wasn't much combat. Some platforming but again not much. All the NPC interactions were great and revealed a little bit more of the truth. Even after you more or less figure out what happened to the Priest and his Daughter there was one more final reveal , worthy of Get Shorty.

I started it yesterday and finished today. Immediately started a new game to use a shiny new key it gave me, so i could go find whats behind some of the locked doors i couldn't get into the first time through.

This game is a perfect palette cleanser.

I searched more about the creator and I found out he was developing by himself, a game called Pinstripe. I waited until it was released on the switch, awn I know I would never have time to play it anywhere else but on a portable console. What a captivation story we have here ! a Story of an ex priest going trough a freezing hell, haunted by a demon, or a ghost, or some malefic presence we don't know if its there or on his head. please check this game out! can't wait for Once upon a Coma, Thomas Brush next project. hopefully on the switch again!!!
