    I think the game’s title of Perception works out to have a double meaning, obviously concerning your main character’s lack of sight, but it also applies well to whether you’re likely to enjoy the game as a whole. If you’re in it for the action or actual horror you’ll very likely walk away disappointed. But if you like a slow burn of suspense, periodic things that will make you jump, and some stories that will reveal themselves to you slowly and through a variety of means as you wander an ever-changing house, it will offer several hours of enjoyment. I’ve never played a game quite like it, and there’s something to be said for a title working earnestly to challenge gamers with something new, even if it may not have hit all of the marks it was likely aiming for.

    I really enjoyed this game. Maybe because i didn't think of it as a "survival-horror" per se ... I saw it more as a unique game that allowsI really enjoyed this game. I was invested in Carrie's journey and intrigued to discover what her connection to the house was. I mean, what a crazy thing for a blind woman to fly across the country and go into a random abandoned mansion alone following her gut that she has to be there to figure something out? From a narrative/character perspective, the game makes sense and is a lot of fun - and also occasionally pretty creepy.… Full Review »

La idea de ir a ciegas en un juego puede no ser la mejor para un videojuego, sin embargo, en Perception todo se basa en utilizar los sonidos para guiarte. Pero ten cuidado, si haces demasiado ruido algo terrible irá por ti.
    La historia del juego, los elementos de exploración y la búsqueda de elementos tanto principales como secundarios son los que le dan vida a este juego. Lamentablemente, el juego es corto y tiene poca re-jugabilidad por no variar su contenido. No obstante, el juego no es caro y puede ser una opción para momentos de espera a otro juego más ambicioso.    … Full Review »
