    Overall, this is a very faithful remake of a classic and beloved shoot-em-up with a fascinating world setting, now brought to life in a new and visually vibrant way. There is a definite learning curve here though, even for such a simple and direct control setup, but it’s worth sticking with and becoming The Divine Visitor the world needs.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. As a fan of the entire Panzer Series, this remake was breathtaking in every regard. All the visuals, the design changes, the gameplay, everything about it was buttery smooth and exactly what I would have wanted in a remake of this classic.
    You can really feel the love and care the people working on the game had while putting it together, and it shines through every moment of playing.
    This is a must buy for classic Sega fans, and when the Sequel Remake comes out, I’m sure that will be too. 10/10, no other option    … Expand

Being a fan of other similar on-rails shooters such as Space Harrier, Star Fox and Panorama Cotton, I figured I would give the game a shot, and livestream it to some friends. What followed was a pretty disastrous display of disappointment.

    I feel that a long explanation is unnecessary. While I did find the visuals to be fine, everything else just didn't sit right with me. Sadly, the area that felt least enjoyable to me was the gameplay, which in a game where all that you're doing is gameplay, is a pretty big error. Needless to say I won't be excited to replay this any time soon.    … Expand
