    Stupidly easy rock paper scissors style game when you play as the only ranged character. It's like bringing a gun to a sword fight. 4 moves, dash left, dash right, attack and block (or quick attack depending on the character). Most typical attacks require two presses one to ready, one to attack. Blocks release after a brief second. Since there's not much going on, I focused on how low resolution the pixel art is. It's just a bit ugly, shallow and I didn't enjoy the experience. I bought it for 50 cents, so I got my 50 cents worth, but It would be a struggle to return.… Expand

    This is a simple effort that is very easy to get into and to adopt. Unfortunately it's also too simple for its own good, with a visual environment that does not look better than many of the games it's based on and a lack of balance between characters that does not motivate the players to explore their features.

    One Strike will make a good addition to any gathering of friends but don't expect much life from it as a solo experience.
