OctaFight is easy to pick up and play, and needs little time to master. Bombing your opponents off the screen to win is great fun, but with no online multiplayer or single-player, make sure you have at least one friend to battle with.

OctaFight while it can be initially fun and having great music, the game really depends on having people to play with locally and in this time of social distancing that has made it pretty hard since there is no single player.

When friends are available, Octafight offers quick matches with fast and fluid action, and a variety of modes, stages, and weapons that add an unexpected amount of variety and freshness. However, potential buyers should beware — this added lifespan is only relevant to those who have someone to play with.

OctaFight is a good-looking multiplayer arcade game with fun music and a unique art style. However, unless you have up to eight friends on your couch, you’ll soon get bored after a handful of rounds.

Despite its extremely simplified visual world, the game does its job competently and benefits from a fitting soundtrack too. Unfortunately OctaFight is limited to a local multiplayer experience that does not include any single player or online multiplayer components. This leaves out many potential players and it becomes even harder to understand when the pandemic is growing significantly once more, which calls for more online experiences amid a return to home confinements.

Fun game! I played it with my family and we had a blast, learned the game in under 10 minutes, and it's easy to explain and teach. SimpleFun game! I played it with my family and we had a blast, learned the game in under 10 minutes, and it's easy to explain and teach. Simple controls and overpixelated art make it super fun to play, the more people the better, but even playing with just two people is really fun. Full Review »
