    I really don't understand the negative reviews this game has gotten. While not a perfect game by any measure. It's still a decent game. My only major complaint is that only seems to be the only fleshed out game mode and the single player game modes are just alright.

    Nintendo managed to launch another good and interesting title for the Switch with "Nintendo Switch Sports". The current games are a bit too few, though. At least you can also play golf for free in the fall. However, "Nintendo Switch Sports" is really fun in a group with friends or family and provides many funny moments.     Nintendo Switch Sports is a fine Wii sports like experience. If you're craving a new sports game with some Nintendo charm Nintendo Switch Sports will probably satisfy you. The main problem with Nintendo Switch Sports is that it doesn't have its own identity. The game is nothing compared to Wii Sports and there are a lot of reasons for that. Instead of using Miis the game uses genericNintendo Switch Sports is a fine Wii sports like experience. If you're craving a new sports game with some Nintendo charm Nintendo Switch Sports will probably satisfy you. The main problem with Nintendo Switch Sports is that it doesn't have its own identity. The game is nothing compared to Wii Sports and there are a lot of reasons for that. Instead of using Miis the game uses generic avatars which don't work. You could make a Mii look like basically anyone. The new avatars have a lot less options and just doesn't have the same charm of seeing yourself in the game. The other problem was just that Wii sports is better. The sports are much funner to play in Wii Sports. Even in bowling and tennis I feel like the Wii Sports version is slightly better. While the Nintendo Switch Sports games have detailed backgrounds and better graphics Wii sports is more charming and feels more welcoming. The new sports added in the game are not great. Out of six sports three of them are new and only one of the new ones is actually enjoyable. Badminton is the one enjoyable new one. You can think of it as Wii Sports tennis but more fast paced and chaotic. Badminton was the sport that I went back to the most. But it is disappointing that the best sport in the package is basically a slightly modified version of tennis. Volleyball and soccer are the two other new sports and they're horrible. Volleyball asks you to make extremely specific movements to hit the ball. Its also just a very slow game. Not once did I feel like a game of volleyball was different from the last game of volleyball. Soccer is not any better. The game feels like a really slow and bad version of rocket league. The field is way too big and your character is too slow. Sometimes it feels like I have to run a whole mile just to get to the goal. Besides the new games there's bowling, chanbara, and tennis which were all brought back from past Wii Sports games. They all work well and are really fun but without the old Miis and backgrounds playing them in Switch Sports isn't as good as playing them in Wii Sports. Besides just playing the sports alone or with family you can go against friends or random people online. From what I played I didn't have many problems. It's not a perfect online mode but it works. By playing against people online you're able to earn new items you can put on your character to make it look more like yourself. This makes it so then there's something you can actually accomplish by playing online and I'll always have something to do. The online mode is the only thing that Nintendo Switch Sports has over Wii Sports. Overall Nintendo Switch Sports is a fine game. The main question is, was it fun to play with family and friends? The answer to that question is yes of course. Although its obvious that this game is not perfect and feels a bit under-baked. Its annoying to see Nintendo constantly make games that are kind of rushed and don't make their full potential. But I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy my time with Nintendo Switch Sports.… Expand

    Nintendo Switch Sports is a good nintendo sports compared to other deliveries of the saga but the bittersweet and incomplete flavor that the game sometimes feels makes it a bit or very disappointing

    After 16 years, Nintendo has once again tried to release a Wii Sports successor, which in my opinion is overshadowed by Wii Sports Resort.
    Graphically, Nintendo Switch Sports has the edge, that's for sure.
    In terms of the number of sports, however, Wii Sports Resort wins. Here's a comparison: Wii Sports Resort has 12 sports, which would be sword fighting, wakeboarding, frisbee, archery,    After 16 years, Nintendo has once again tried to release a Wii Sports successor, which in my opinion is overshadowed by Wii Sports Resort.

    In terms of the number of sports, however, Wii Sports Resort wins.
    Here's a comparison: Wii Sports Resort has 12 sports, which would be sword fighting, wakeboarding, frisbee, archery, basketball, table tennis, golf, bowling, jet boating, canoeing, cycling and air sports such as sightseeing flights and skydiving.
    Nintendo Switch Sports currently has 6 but it should be 7 from autumn.
    The 6 sports are volleyball, badminton, bowling, football, chanbara (sword fighting) and tennis and also golf but this will not be added until autumn.
    I'm not a big fan of the so-called Sportsmates, which are supposed to be the new Mii characters, for which I immediately grabbed my Mii.
    The motion control works surprisingly well I'm honest there were a few minor hiccups but in general it's pretty good but far from perfect.
    The online multiplayer is really good for Nintendo, so far it has only had one disconnect and it's also a lot of fun with friends
    I almost forgot the price, I thought Nintendo would raise the price back to €60, but I paid €45 for this game (physically) digitally in the eshop, it costs €40, the €5 additional costs probably went for the additional leg strap, but that was also the case Physically 45€ and digitally 40€ is a fair and good price for this game.
    Conclusion at the end the majority of this game works well but in my opinion Nintendo Switch Sports is still a long way from Wii Sports Resort, but it is a successful successor    … Expand

    Nintendo switch sports is just seen as a disappointing sequel to the beloved wii sports/wii sports resort. I completely agree that this game is mostly missed potential however there is still some fun in it.

    As someone who only played wii sports at friends' houses, and had kinect sports in my house. switch sports is great fun, though could use more immediately unlocked customization options, and simply more content. hope the update with golf will bring even more than just golf

    A very fun experience for those who grew up with wii sports and want to play a more complex game, I see a lot of people complaining about the number of games, which is fair. But comparing this to resort and saying ''resort had way more and that was in 2009'' is a silly complaint.     A great follow up to the series. I think the music is great, which is a bit of mix of wii sports and wii sports resort. The game is fun and its a overall great experience.

    Never play Nintendo sports games before, this game is all new for me and I love it. Thanks to the online mode, I can play with my friends in other country, hope they add the squad mode like Splatoon, so I can team up with my online friend. All the six game is well polished, thanks to the Pro League, master all the game will be harder, hopefully more new content will be available soon.     Nintendo Switch Sport in my opinion is a really good game with a lot of potential it has a great verity of sports like Badminton,Football etc.. it has right now 6 different sports to choose from now lets talk about the quality and the performance in the game :firstly it has stunning visuals the over world is stunning and spooco square is a really nice place with a lot of potential to it,Nintendo Switch Sport in my opinion is a really good game with a lot of potential it has a great verity of sports like Badminton,Football etc.. it has right now 6 different sports to choose from now lets talk about the quality and the performance in the game :firstly it has stunning visuals the over world is stunning and spooco square is a really nice place with a lot of potential to it, the game runs smoothly in the switch with a 60 fps performance it has some lagging when playing two players but not so often now lets talk about gameplay:theres two modes here local and online and tbh i think they made the game just for the online and trashed the offline, the offline there isnt anything special in it, its you basic playing sports wih friend type of thing it ,lacks different modes and mini games of each sport and it doesn't have awarding features like online its just a mid game in that genre but the online is really good its the opposite of that it has some rewarding gifts and outfit and gears to get and a pro mode when you play enough it has good server performance with some rare errors here and there but generally it is good i think its one of the better ones for Nintendo perspective ofc , i think the motion controls works very good too now in conclusion:Nintendo Switch Sport is a game with disappointing local mode and a great online mode with a great performance and has a lot of potential with updates like golf thait is confirmed to be added in fall and more if tnintendo ignores the ge then it will be ome of the wasted potential games ever with that out of the way i give the game a solid 8/10… Expand

    Exactly what I want from a Nintendo sports game! It's polished, fun & charming game with depth to each sport. Absolutely loving the online mode, unlocking the outfits and pro-leagues and I can't wait to play with some friends locally!

    There’s not a lot to say about the graphics in this game aside from the fact that they look pretty good for a basic switch title. Though the environment isn’t nearly as appealing to me as the previous sports titles

    Controls work well enough with Bowling, Soccer , Volleyball and Badminton, but they seem to fall about a bit with Tennis and especially Chambara. I don’t know if Tennis was ever this bad in Wii Sports, but the controls seem to be super sensitive with the kind of swings you make with the Joy con in this; And considering the accuracy isn’t perfect, it can lead to some frustrating moments.

    I’m also bringing down the score on the customization because the base items barely give you anything to work with, and the sets only last for a limited time; So if you’re not in the mood to play at a certain time and you miss out, who knows if you’re getting another chance to get the items to lost out on. I kinda wish this game gave you more points for just trying to play; 40 out of 100 feels like a bit of a waste, especially when you spend some time setting up the game and actually playing for 2-3 minutes per match.

    BOTTOM LINE:
    8/10

    Despite the quirks with two of the sports titles and the customization being a bit lacking, this game is still a fun title to pick up and play with friends and family. About the only other complaint I have is the $50 price tag still seems a bit steep for a title like this; I’d say this is more worth it at $40. If you haven’t picked up this title yet and if the lack of customizing doesn’t bother you (aside from using Miis) I totally recommend this whenever Nintendo has a small sale on this title.    … Expand

    Feels unfinished. Many mechanics from previous titles are missing and getting a strike or spare just feels emotionless.

    Terribly unpolished. It just fails to be interesting and the leg strap is worthless and contributes nothing to the main game
    - Volleyball
    Sucks to control, somehow terribly unresponsive and overall just not fun.

    The game's presentation has a good amount of attention to detail but the lack of customization (most of it is locked behind NSO) and the disappointing soundtrack and audio mixing, combined with the ugly ui its just not good,

    6/10, leaves a lot to be desired due to its unfinished and incomplete state.    … Expand

    The game is mostly online focused, with massive amounts of cosmetics cycling week by week. I've personally never had a single problem playing online except for chambara/swordplay, where swinging the sword correctly matters a ton! Most of the fun of course comes with playing locally though.     Tennis is actually a lot of fun (and way more techincal than I thought it'd be), but the fact that you can't choose which mode you want to play in bowling is such a horrible design choice that it honestly just ruins the game..

    Don't even think about buying it until they fix that ****

    Wow, how is this not as good as the old wii sports? No boxing, nothing at all feels updated, if anything it all feels a little downgraded.

    As of right now, it is simply not at all worth buying. Very limited amount of game modes available, and once you play all the game modes for an hour or two they get stale already. Not really any sense of progression either, like a story mode that would've made it at least 2x more fun.     They took everything that was good about Wii Sports, added a positive dash of some cool customizations that you can earn through playing, and then crapped all over it all with forced "advanced" game modes, and Nintendo's terrible multiplayer servers. Had so much potential to be good, and they failed it.

No.do i think its bad No. This game could really use more sports such as Baseball or Boxing im glad swordfight was added but why rename it to Chambara My biggest proble. Is Qhy is there no Miis Overall this game isnt worth the 40$it cost but this ga e needs to be Updated fast or is juet there to cash-in on the people that played wii sports bacm in 2006-2010

    The sports in general and getting cosmetics are fun, but the CPUs in some sports and the pro league system are terrible (getting matched up with A ranks when you're C rank etc). Also, it's not fair that in online tennis, you sometimes match up with 2 real people vs just you.

    Me ha faltado más contenido, hay muy pocos juegos donde elegir y en algunos te fuerza a jugar solo 2 personas. Supongo que con el tiempo va a ir mejorando mucho el juego pero me da la sensación de haber comprado un juego a medias.

    Nintendo Switch Sports has brought back everything we loved about Wii Sports and given it a refresh fit for 2022. Old favourites like tennis and bowling are back, while new games have also been added to the mix including badminton and football. This game is really fun to play.

    Playing the tennis and bowling game modes don’t exactly bring anything particularly new to the table, but it’s hard not to let muscle memory kick in after an extended period away. Volleyball and badminton also make for a grand entrance that are suitable additions to a bag filled with varied game modes.

    Playing by myself for an extended period of time was boring and monotonous, and the absence of certain single-player modes is a major oversight. But Nintendo Switch Sports is a fantastic multiplayer game that, for the most part, invites anyone and everyone to pick up a controller and flail their limbs about. It has its issues, but they fall away when you have other people to play with and are joyously going toe-to-toe in virtual sports. As with the original Wii Sports, Nintendo Switch Sports finds beauty and fun in simplicity. And bowling is great. Better than real-life bowling.
