Nightmare Boy pays homage to classic 16 bit platform games. It´s colorful, well animated and fun to play, although you can finish the game in less than four hours.

Completed this game this past weekend (about 8 hours / 93% / missed 2 aster fragments / normal difficulty). This is a good platformer withCompleted this game this past weekend (about 8 hours / 93% / missed 2 aster fragments / normal difficulty). This is a good platformer with engaging enemies and bosses which are hard in general. The atmosphere, music and graphics are great for the theme (nightmare). The story is kind of crazy, but very cool at the same time. You can save 9 kids while running through the game, but you do not need to find them all. There are different spells you can use throughout the game which are useless for the most part, but some of them are interesting! The controls are tight, but feel a little bit ''floaty''. The only thing I hate is the fact there is no transportation/teleportation/warping system like a lot of other games. Nightmare Boy deserves a 8 out of 10 in my book and I would recommend anybody to pick it up especially for the cheap price ($10 canadian + tax) Full Review »
