Apr 16, 2019This is definitely designed as a local two-player game. If you're not thinking about playing this sitting next to a friend, then I would definitely not recommend this game. However, we spent a solid hour and a half playing this game during the last Super Bowl, so it definitely can be fun in groups. The online play is pretty much a joke, so don't get it for that.

Jun 13, 2019Niddhog 2 improves on the original game's experience to deliver a fun effort that stands out the most when played on local multiplayer, while its single-player experience feels rather empty. Nevertheless, Niddhog 2's combat system and its fluid action and gameplay mean that any party or group of players that picks it up will feel satisfied for doing so.
