    The game is good but nothing particularly special. I rate it 8/10 because it is really fun to play with friends. One player mode was, for me, pretty boring.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I actually played New Super Mario Bros. U on the Wii U. I just didn't like that game that much because it was so similar to the other ones. Same here, but you do get New Super Luigi U, which is a very cool game, much better than Mario U. It isn't a bad game at all, but it just feels so bland compared to other 2D games, especially because New Super Mario Bros. 2 on the Nintendo CDS released just a couple months before hand. Too be honest, I even consider New Super Mario Bros. Wii to be a better game than this, it just isn't great, i'll give it a 7/10.… Expand

    A nice 2D platformer filled with nostalgia and with the marvelous multiplayer options which is a real gain here. To be clear, I played it 3 players coop all long, and that was a funny treat. In solo I'm not sure it'd be such interesting since the level design is not the greatest Nintendo work.

    It feels like this game is before our time, the levels while being pretty average has little to no innovation in original concepts. I thought the baby Yoshi's were kind of useless, I did find the addition of Toadette and Nabbit was cool though.

    I never have found the New Super Mario Bros series to be all that great. I think it is a nice game to have for when family and friends come over as it gives you a different option for multiplayer games. For that reason, it was worth the buy.

    Sure its another 2D mario game. BUT WHO DOESNT HAVE FUN WITH 2D MARIO. it literally saved the industry at one point and that happened for a reason.

    the game is simply far too narrow and difficult. there are way more pixels on the screen than the wii u, but it still feels that space is extremely cramped to a degree that's not necessary for a switch game. i have no problems with it being a port of the same game as before in concept, but they should have upscaled it to compete with the other mario games on the console. i don't think any normal child would be able to enjoy this game, and the controls are not tight enough to be appreciated by adult fans. it's simply far too easy to die and there are far too few checkpoints. i have spent the vast majority of my time being forced to complete the same few levels over and over only to lose my progress because i died on a completely different level. this checkpoint system is outdated and incredibly unfriendly to the user.

    besides this, the controls are consistently unresponsive, the hitboxes are all over the place and don't line up with the sprites at all, and the game consistently registers me letting go of the stick after jumping as pressing down, leading to extremely inconvenient ground pounds that routinely cause me to die. there's no option to change the controls whatsoever even with a plethora of unused buttons on the joycons, and this is a huge letdown. just let me press R like every other mario game.

    for a kicker, the respawn times are unnecessarily slow for a switch game with what are relatively unimpressive/unambitious graphics, and text bubbles are painfully outdated in how slow and repetitive explanations for simple gameplay aspects are. i don't think ive ever been disappointed with a mario game before, but this one sorely needed to be rebuilt from the ground up to fix the lack of open space and take advantage of the switch's capabilities as well as to compensate for the joycon problems. instead, nintendo has clearly cheaped out on this and used it as another mediocre cash grab. the game did not need to be re-released, it needed to be improved.    … Expand

    This is just a very, very disappointing port. It hasn't changed any of the problems the original had. The main problem tho, is the new power up, it's useless. Peaches crown changes toadette (the new character) into peachette. All she does is glide which is what the raccoon suit does which is the new item of this game.     This rip off of a port does have a redeeming quality: New super Luigi u. This gives us the same 8 world's, but with new levels and harder difficulty (something the base game lacks). This port changes nothing from the original and just shows again, how Lazy Nintendo are and have been for a while. And the fun dies even more when you realise that you are playing the same 8 world's from the previous all over again. Over all though, very, very disappointing. Nintendo need to start giving us quality again, which the series has been lacking (with exceptions) for the past over a decade.this is ofc my opinion and I recommend you pick it up and give it a try yourself before you judge.
    I will make it clear though, that I don't think this game is bad, BC it can be really fun at times.    … Expand

    I was fairly close to giving this a 7, however the few creative stages within New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, makes this a close 8. The only flaw I have with this game is the pacing, compared to older games like SMB 3, the levels do not feel cohesive. Certain areas are not very memorable while others really shine such as the spooky forest, and more boring ones like Rock Candy Canyon.I was fairly close to giving this a 7, however the few creative stages within New Super Mario Bros.     + de bazen zijn een highlight, de koopalings zijn uniek van elkaar, Bowser Jr. is altijd een highlight en Kamek is tof vanwege zijn RNG en Bowser is klimatisch en uitdagend

    - Peachtette is gewoon de eikel power-up. Toadette maakt de game niet gemakkelijker buiten de klok vergroten (wat nuttig is in multiplayer)

    - er zijn 3 baby yoshi's maar enkel de ballon yoshi is nuttig om te hebben. als je ze verliesd respawnen ze niet direct. spijtig want ze hadden de nieuwe Yoshi kunnen zijn (hij is ook in de game maar op dezelfde manier als in Wii)

    conclusie:
    deze game is het zeker waard voor een 2D Mario game. het heeft meer content dan je denkt    … Expand

A lot of these Wii U ports are met with backlash, because people had them on the Wii U and it’s generally, a rip-off. This game is like that. Adding nothing new, it stole Bowser Jr’s Journey’s spotlight and killed AlphaDream because they launched on the same day. It added an easy mode and the princess crown, which then made Bowsette. Kids, never do Twitter. They changed the spin jump button to ZR/ZL, but changed the midair spin to another B press. You can turn it off by doing some input every time you load the game. Why would you do this, Nintendo? Oh, no wait; I forgot people love doing manual inputs every time they load in to change the controls. My bad!

    It looks the same as it did on the Wii U.

    It added nothing new, except Toadette. They could have tried, but they didn’t. But hey, hey! They’re Nintendo. If other companies did this, they would never hear the end of it, but Nintendo gets a free pass!

    NEVER buy this game. I respect you if you bought it, but next time buy Mario Maker 2, which sold less then this! Nintendo can only do this so many times, and my least favorite game ever, is now this. Mario Tennis Aces looks like Mario Odyssey compared to this dumpster fire.    … Expand

    This game is a mess. I did bother to collect all star coins, and just to be clear: it was NOT worth it, because this game is so uninspired there was no point to keep playing.

    The only world I had fun with was the first one. The difficulty was perfect, however, levels became disgustingly difficult after second world onward. Those levels were SO HARD! The sentence in Nintendo E-Shop, saying that this game has over 140 levels is misleading, as the game has only about 80.

    I like that this game has challenges, however, those challenges are not very interesting. The fire bro one is quite cool, but I guess that is everything. I hope I do not need to mention that there is literally nothing new from the Wii U version of the game. It is the exact same game, except the Luigi U DLC is included for free. Luigi U is basically the exact same game, but it is way harder than the Mario version of the game.

    I have BIG issues with the gameplay. First of all, every single time you die, you get kicked out of the level completely, forcing you to enter it every time you die, and you have to watch a 3 year old animation again and again. Instead of this, they could just respawn you at the start of the level or at the checkpoint to save everyone's time. I died hundreds of times, so at least 15 minutes of my total playtime was just watching the animation upon death and entering the level.

    Another important thing to mention is the way the game saves. The game does let you save ONLY after castle stages. If you want to save anywhere else, you have to rely on a very unreliable system called quick saving. The system does not work properly and very often did not save my progress, meaning something like playing one level during a break at school is impossible, you ALWAYS have to play to a castle to save the game. If you want to save the game freely, you can do that only after completing the game. The fact that this exists is DUMB. And when you beat a castle, I find even DUMBER that the game even asks you if you want to save. The game should save after every level automatically.

    The way some star coins are hidden is very cheap too, especially ghost house stages, which always require you to randomly jump into walls, hoping you find them. The secret exits in them are very cheap as well. This game is simply a mess that nobody should waste time with.    … Expand

    Es casi un mod de New Mario Bros DS (creo que Nintendo creo al Mario Maker cuando desarolló esa serie). Si te has juagado cualquiera NEW Mario Bros (DS, Wii, 3DS Wii U, Swicth) no hace falta jugar otro, son literalmente lo mismo. Si juegas Mario Bros 1, Mario Bros 3 y Mario World veras que son juegos muy distintos en mecanicas, fisicas estetica, porpuestas, pero aqui no, la serie new esEs casi un mod de New Mario Bros DS (creo que Nintendo creo al Mario Maker cuando desarolló esa serie). Si te has juagado cualquiera NEW Mario Bros (DS, Wii, 3DS Wii U, Swicth) no hace falta jugar otro, son literalmente lo mismo. An incredible game that even has people playing and speedrunning it today. 20 years later Nintendo decided to revert Mario and friends back to 2d. For a full priced 60 bucks you can buy an unimpressive 2d Mario game which really only has multiplayer as a selling point. Comparing this game to otherIt was 1996.     I'm a huge fan of Mario games and this game was a huge astoundment. There is something about this entry in the 30 year old franchise. There are new characters in the game. They are Nabbit and Toadette (Peachette with the Super Crown). This game is a good spin-off.

    If you really WANT a 2D platformer, JUST GET KIRBY STAR ALLIES INSTEAD!!! It has a BETTER story, NEW mechanics, NEW BOSSES with STAMINA, and a GOAL to STOP THE DESTRUCTION ODF THE UNIVERSE!     I kinda regret getting it but it can be fun at some points. I just have one big issue. THE CONTROLS. Who thought that making the spin jump the same button as the regular jump was a good idea.

Then New Super Mario Bros for Wii came out I played it had some fun but never finished it. Skip to New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe. Then New Super Mario Bros for Wii came out I played it had some fun but never finished it. Skip to New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe. The game play of the New Super Mario games are solid but after four entries and nothing much changing it’s pretty stale. The whole game feels like it was rushed (granted it probably was for the Wii U but they could have fixed it for the Deluxe version). I wanted to love it just like I did with previous entries but I can’t even finish it. I’ve been on the last world since it was released basically. I have tried since then and just can’t bring myself to even playing the game because I find it so boring now. Every course blends in together and none of them are memorable.

    If someone is reading this review in 2021, don’t buy this game at full price. $20 max but if you want a really good Mario game go buy any other ones on the platform. Heck I started playing Super Mario 3D World+BFs this week and it made me write this review because of how amazing it is compared to deluxe.

    Nintendo either has to do a complete revamp of the New Super Mario Bros series or just take it behind Nintendo headquarters and put it down.    … Expand

    A great little 2D platformer made the Nintendo way, reminiscent of the Super Mario Bros. games from the NES and the SNES.
    It's got all such a game needs: Excellent gameplay and level design with Mario characters and their particular sense of humour. Only downside is the fact it seems unintentionally a little antiquated from an art design perspective, even for a Switch or WiiU game.     New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe is a port of New Super Mario Bros U. Neither are great fun compared to other Mario games, but U Deluxe feels worse simply because it's a port of 2 games with almost nothing changed. The characters are not very balanced with Nabbit feeling somewhat unfair. That being said it still is a 2D Mario platformer with nothing wrong with the gameplay.

    I have only played the DS one before. People say that these games are bland and boring... But here is the thing. If you were asked to make a completely new NSMB game and what would you add. Most of you probably be completely out of words. So every single NSMB game is 11/10. Plus all of them add at least something new!

    i really don't want another 2d mario and i am still burned out on them i think it has to do that every 2d mario doesn't do anything unique if u look at other franchises they have way better evel design and art, i want some action in the backround of a level to make it feel more alive

    Есть 4 героя, у 2 их которых упрощённые механики - Пичетта не может упасть в пропасть, а Кралик неуязвим для врагов. Немного напрягает, что нельзя сохраняться между замками (точнее можно, но только 1 раз), но промежутки там небольшие, поэтому нельзя считать это за полноценный    Забавное красочное приключение.

U Deluxe is hated a lot but if you think about it, it isn't that bad sure it's a port of an older game released years ago but it IS really the only 2d Mario game on the Nintendo Switch if your not counting Nintendo Switch Online. not just saying that the game is still good there are so many courses and if you buy it your going to have a lot of fun the multiplayer is aSuper Mario Bros.     El modo multijugador es aburrido, si quieres hacer una competición con un amigo de varios niveles seguidos, los niveles tienen que ser del mismo mundo, no es aleatorio entre todos los niveles. El modo desafío y un jugador me ha gustado mucho. El DLC de Luigi es muy aburrido a menos que juegues después de mucho tiempo. Si tienes el de wii u este juego es horrible.     Basically it's the Wii game with a graphic update. The levels are not very originals. It was fun to play in local multiplayer, but not alone in my opinion.

After a couple of hours of playing, you realize all the levels and castles are almost the same making the game VERY repetitive.     Its a fun game with a lot stuff to do. Great plataform-based-game with local coop multiplayer...this game's one of best super mario saga ever made with nice gameplay plus tons of fun hours to enjoy.

I have played numerous games for the Nintendo Switch and this is one of a select few that I enjoyed so much I went back to 100%.     Playing through with my friends 100% was a really good time. there are a lot of levels with pretty good design. getting the coins are as fun as ever. I'd Recommend Mario Maker 2 over this game though

    Kind of fun but lacks the innovation of the 3D Mario games and can be frustrating. Not least because when you die it spits you out of the level back onto the map screen where you then have to re-enter the level, with load screens at every stage in between. After getting used to more modern platformers that put you right back in the action after you die, this system feels a bit antiquated and slow.

New Super Mario bros on the DS is a much harder experience and no skipping-level power us(flying ones) and guess what? there was NOT an easy mode and people had to play it this way(heck even more people tried the DS one than the Switch one). Kids are NOT stupid and also why Nabbit in Mario U? Makes sense in Luigi U with some levels like 9-6 but in Mario?
    Also, the game is so unoriginal, its like a NSMBW expansion, just the acorn as the new power up along with those yoshis(which btw the only useful one is the pink one) doesnt make it new. They could have make new levels with tons of creativity using those power ups. But no.
    The only good thing is playing with friends but then its a no no.
    If you want a better 2D experience, just buy DK tropical freeze, its more original, better environmentes instead of the usual grass, desert, lava, beach AND better level design
    But if you want something that has "Mario" on the title just buy Mario Maker 2, you can spend over HOURS of creativity making AND playing other peoples levels, plus more original levels from Nintendo

    Not up to the standards of modern day platformers. The graphics are nothing special, the gameplay is boring and it is too hard.

    I dont mind hard games and might have persevered if it was more fun to play.

    There is a character called Nabbit who is invisible but this obviously makes the game way to easy and sucks all enjoyment from it.

There are a few frustrating parts that could have been improved here or there but for the most part it's been a spectacular adventure and I haven't even got to the bonus content yet! People recommended against this purchase but I have to tell you, they were so very wrong! I don't even think Odyssey will be as enjoyable as this game has already been. I'm definitely planning on getting Odyssey of course eventually. But my wallet needs more power.

    The game also improves my opinion of Bowser Junior. The guy is such a character and has been fun to watch on the screen. Also, I like this version of Toad that we get to play as. The Icy Flower is so much fun! I could go on and on about how much I like this game. They should continue making more 2D games. Great success.    … Expand

    My favorite 2d Mario as of this moment, i have played hundreds of hours on wii u and switch, i really don't understand why this has a score so negative, the reviews say the game is "boring" mostly is the word i have been seen repeating and i assume are trolls, because most of them say things that are not real, like the game being "open world", what are you talking about ¿?.

    It baffles me how you are still sent to the world map after losing a life every single time, terrible game design which they didn't even bother fixing for this port. Besides that huge flaw the game has great level design as expected from a Mario games, other than that it's the same old copy pasted visuals and sounds since the Wii days, very uninspired and little improvements.

However, it's a port of a game that didn't innovate much when it was released in Wii U a few years ago, and it doesn't include enough changes to deserve the name "Deluxe".

    This game is just beautiful. This game is great for people who never got the Wii U and have the Switch, but I had an amazing time playing it for a second game. They added Toadette and Nabit, and even combined New Super Luigi U with it.

This is the standard, side-scroller Mario platformer formula that I have loved since I was a kid. Although the levels aren't the most complex or engaging, the platforming is still fun and even sometimes challenging. My biggest gripe is the "physics" ofI never got the chance to play New Super Mario Bros. U on the Wii U, so I wanted to give it a go with the Deluxe edition on the Switch. This is the standard, side-scroller Mario platformer formula that I have loved since I was a kid. Although the levels aren't the most complex or engaging, the platforming is still fun and even sometimes challenging. My biggest gripe is the "physics" of the controls; Mario is floaty and can feel weighty. In this day and age of 2D platformers with tight controls for precision platforming, this didn't really click with me until towards the end of the game. Not so much a flaw, just a personal preference.

    All in all, I did have fun with the game, and I recommend it for any Mario fan, and for those who never played it on the Wii U.    … Expand

    This game was fun and silly, and often very chaotic. They found a way to capture the charm and difficulty of classic Mario games, though I do wish half the difficulty wasn't trying to operate with two players. I hope this isn't the only 2.5D Mario game we get on the Switch in it's lifespan, but if it is, at least it was a fun ride.

There are also three starcoins in each level, so the player must pay more attention to the environment and not just runs through the level as fast as possible. While some of them are hidden in interesting and unique places, there are also some which require you to find a random hidden block or area to get them, which can be quite annoying sometimes. Sadly the starcoins aren’t that useful, unless you collect all of them within a world.

    Graphics:
    While the look of the New Super Mario Bros games on the Wii and the Nintendo DS might have been novel at the time, in 2019 this type of artstyle looks plain and generic. There isn’t much variety in terms of background or environment. Even though there are different worlds you visit, the backgrounds will mostly look the same. In New Super Luigi U, they at least added some new backgrounds, which are more unique and memorable.

    Music:
    The soundtrack suffers the same way the graphic does. Although most of the tracks are pretty good, there also isn’t much variety. There are four times as many levels as there are soundtracks, so you can probably guess, that you will hear most of them multiple times.

    The Deluxe version also contains the two new playable characters Toadette and Nabbit, which are supposed to make the game easier by increasing the time limit. Additionally Nabbit can’t be damaged from enemies.

    While Super Mario Bros is an important milestone for the history of videogames, the newer games just aren’t innovative enough to be considered a great 2D platformer. Compared with Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe really isn’t that great with its repetitive graphics and generic level design.    … Expand

Not even touching on the "2013-looking mobile game art direction", it's just a drab uninspired affair. Title is also misleading, sure NEW is part of the series name, but the Deluxe implies something not delivered here.     I played Super mario in Wii edition and it was really enjoyable. (Played and finished the game with my brother)
    i would expect more from this version since it has been so many years from the version i played. I would say, this is just another super mario game..

    I love Mario games. and I love 2d platformers. so this pick up was a no brainer. I didnt get the WiiU version so this is new for me. Cant complain about it. just thank Nintendo for bring it to the switch. however... I wish it was longer and more difficult.     Never had a Wii U so got a chance to play New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe on my Switch. Played coop with my wife on the Mario levels and solo on Luigi.

    Pros: - Classic 2D Mario with everything you'd expect - Includes both Mario and Luigi (DLC) levels - Luigi - had fun getting 3 coins on all levels and the shorter levels were interesting Cons: - Mario - the coop was frustrating    Never had a Wii U so got a chance to play New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe on my Switch. Played coop with my wife on the Mario levels and solo on Luigi.

    Pros:
    - Classic 2D Mario with everything you'd expect

There are so many games out there that are simply superior 2d platformers - The Shovel Knight Games (with Co-op); Tropical Freeze (with Co-op); Celeste, and Shovel Knight and Celeste are cheaper as well.     This is a good game however it feels a bit dull compared to the many platformers that have been released these couple of years. I'm also a bit angry because they advertised the Luigi u expansion as new levels. They are however the exact same levels as the main game only a bit more difficult. For me that feels like false advertising.

    The frustrating part with this game are the ghost levels. To beat them you have to find all the hidden doors and that is the problem. Most of these doors are placed at such stupid places like invissible walls. After a while its so boring. The new power upgrade is lazy. The controls for baby yoshi are just annoying, and therefore I rarely used them. Overall I didn't like the game that much. If feels a bit blant after playing donkey kong tropical freeze, which had far better gameplay, music, bosses and backgrounds.    … Expand

Nabbit is completely immune to enemies and doesn't take power ups. This makes it a great character for a new gamer. Toadette is an "easier" character as she has a double jump to get her out of tricky situations. Think Girlfriend/Boyfriend who isn't good at video games. These twists make it an enjoyable 2D Mario Experience. One final note. Luigi mode. This is a more advanced cut throat mode for super skilled players. Levels are the same but time is shorten and coins are in different areas. It gives the game.... a little spice. A spicy meatball

    While 60$ might turn you away, the game is a blast to play. The controls are tight, the level design is great, and the inclusion of Super Luigi U is a nice bonus. I say it easily worth it's 60$.

It's one of my favorite 2D linear platform games, but I'm not a big fan of linear games, I'd rather explore a 3D world like Mario Odyssey. Also, the title for this game sucks, but it's funny, my friend and I always make jokes about it. Another complaint is that even though you have Mario, Luigi, and Yellow Toad with a pallet swap with Blue Toad, there are also Toadette and Nabbit which makes the game easier and unfair for the people playing, because you can't do normal difficulty with 4 people because only one person can be Toad with a choice of any color along with Mario and Luigi but that last person gets the unlucky pick with being an "easier" character.… Expand

    I speedrunned this on my YouTube channel. I enjoyed every single minute of it. I'm so glad that they kept everything from the original. The controls are amazing and definitely the best 2D controls of the New Series. I'm glad you can finally start the game with Nabbit, which makes it much easier to speedrun. Best 2D game of all time, for me that is. Thank you, Nintendo.

    I really like the level design a lot. Complain all you want about it being too linear, but it’s a 2D platformer. There’s not really a way to make it NOT linear. Platforming is what Mario is all about, and these levels make the platforming the most fun I’ve played in a long time. The levels are crafted in a way that makes it not too easy, but not frustratingly difficult either. The Star Coins are all hiding or require skilled jumps to reach. The water levels are Hitler’s favorite.

    The multiplayer is so much fun in this game. You can work cooperatively with your friends to complete levels easier or make it five times harder by fighting your friends all the way to the finish to see who can finish the game with the most lives. It’s just such a blast to play this game with your friends.

    The brand new HD graphics are absolutely splendid. 2D Mario has never looked this good before. Some of the levels just look so amazing. The first underground level with the crystal moving blocks just couldn’t have possibly looked any better, the water levels that aren’t actually underwater are some of the most beautiful Mario levels I’ve ever seen, that one level that’s a painting, this list goes on and on. Sure it’s nothing in comparison to Mario Kart 8, but is great nonetheless.

    Mario’s controls could use some improving, but are still excellent. The New Super Mario games made the controls feel exactly how you would expect the godsend that are Mario’s 3D to feel in 2D. The triple jump is so nice to land trying to get that flagpole 1-UP and I can barely even remember 2D Mario without the ground pound. When using a Wii Remote I don’t have to hit all the buttons on the controller if I forgot a button because everything just makes sense. I love moving around in this game.

    There aren’t many new power ups, but the power ups we do have are some pretty great stuff. In Super Mario Galaxy they absolutely butchered the Fire Flower making it a timed power up, so I’m glad to say that it’s back in action, killing Koopas better than ever. The Ice Flower is a great alternative that doesn’t instantly kill the enemy, but can kill those pesky Dry Bones you might be having trouble with. The brand new Acorn power up gives you the ability to transform into Flying Squirrel Mario. It gives you the ability to glide and do a huge second jump. Oh yeah, it can also cling to walls for a short period of time. There’s also the penguin power up, which is just the Ice Flower but you can slide on your stomach.

    The story is nothing much, as the tradition goes with Mario games, but it has more depth than the rest of the 2D Mario games. Once again Bowser kidnaps Princess Peach, but this time Bowser takes over Peach’s Castle and sends Mario flying all the way to Peach’s Castle to save her. Over time Kamek enshrouds the castle with fog, and it is cover in a tornado of fog by the time you get there. When you go into the fog the water surrounding the castle is now lava and the music is a remixed Peach’s Castle Theme from Mario 64 which is a nice touch. The bosses are the Koopalings once again and are set up in the same order as Super Mario Bros 3, Boom Boom and all. It even plays a remix of the Fortress Battle Theme from Mario 3.

    I know what you’re thinking. “If you liked the game so much, why did you give it an 8 instead of a 10?” Well, there are still things I dislike about it. World 1 is just full of boring grass levels that look the same, it has the same style as the last three 2D Marios (albeit with HD graphics this time), it has the same bubbly music, a similar lackluster story, and only brought a small amount of new content from the Wii Mario. I really wish this wasn’t the case because I like this game so much, but sadly, it was. This game could’ve improved so much if it had some new style, but otherwise it’s still a great game and you should definitely give it a shot if you enjoy 2D platformers.    … Expand

    I play this game with my 7 yr old son as mulitplayer, we never had Wii U so its all pretty much new to us.
    I can see why and understand why people wouldnt want this if they already had similar game before.
    I always think nintendo switch games are over priced, if it wasnt for my son i would'ave waited until it got bit cheaper. On difficult levels i noticed you get a green exclamation    I play this game with my 7 yr old son as mulitplayer, we never had Wii U so its all pretty much new to us.

Sure, I could argue that boss encounters could’ve been more polished and the game could’ve looked better since Switch is more powerful than Wii U. A new world would have been a nice touch too. But what can I do when the game’s core is so good and it is complemented by content so great that such complaints become irrelevant? [02/2019, p.54]
