The game's fun overall, and customization is actually kinda dope. A lil bit of stuttering here and there framerate-wise (nothing game breaking). Character balancing is a MAJOR problem because there are some things that are way too spammable and had little to no drawbacks to them (I'm looking at you 100% Deku, you cheap *beep beep beep beep*). Character balancing is a MAJOR problem because there are some things that are way too spammable and had little to no drawbacks to them (I'm looking at you 100% Deku, you cheap *beep beep beep beep*). There needs to be some balance changes for the spamming and the cheap crap that some characters can pull off. Imagine trying to block 100% Deku's special that has homing and does a crap load of shield damage and holds you there and then here comes his unblockable attack that can hit you from half the stage away. Or say you dodge the special, you can't block the unblockable attack or his super armor aerial that ignores your super armor attack and takes priority, which, if you were still blocking, will be broken from those attacks or the flurry of punches that go on for too long that follows. I want to enjoy this game, but stuff like that makes it so hard to do; and that's just one character. This game needs optimization to reduce frame stuttering, but balancing out the spammy and cheap stuff would make this game a lot more fun. Overall, I wasn't so keen on the first game because it looked a bit too floaty, but decided that I'd try this one because I still found the game interesting, and I generally wasn't disappointed, but the game needs balancing. If you like arena brawlers, this isn't a bad buy. It's more fun than you'd expect, but frustrating because of how unbalanced some characters are. Expand

An improvement in every way to the last game, My Hero One’s Justice 2 is a wonderful title for fans of My Hero Academia. With an improved roster and enhanced gameplay, it’s time to go Plus Ultra with this fighting game at last.

Make no mistake, My Hero One's Justice 2 is a good, fun arena brawler on its own merits. Taken on its own, the game really does provide an amazing adaptation of the My Hero Academia franchise. The look is spot on, the expanded character roster is a treat, and the incremental changes the developers made really do make a difference, even if they're hard to see sometimes.

My Hero One's Justice 2 is a title that seems grammatically odd but that doesn't make justice to the colossal amount of content that was included with this effort, providing the player with enough to do for many, many hours, especially when it comes to hunt for rewards. Those less familiar with the My Hero Academia series will find this game less thrilling, namely its less engaging campaign mode and emphasis on fan-service, which ends up limiting its appeal.
