DO NOT BUY THIS GAME ON SWITCH! The graphics are all a massive downgrade, even for a Switch game. The total file size for the Switch version is 5.4 GB. I bought this game on PC. The game-play and graphic are brilliant. Thought this might be also great on switch, but it turns out a totally calamity. The graphics on switch is hard to accept, looks like 3DS level. Don't buy this on switch but you must try it on steam or other consoles.

This game is somewhat of a gem on all other platforms. The gameplay is great. But the port for the Nintendo Switch is a dumpster fire. The visuals are ok in docked mode, but in handheld they are blurry and muddy and an absolute abomination (even with the latest patch installed). It's a sad excuse of a port. But the resolution is so low you can not even distinguish loot from plants etc 'cause of the poor quality of the graphics. Expand

Ugh...the graphics are so horrible and destroy the whole game. They said the patch will fix it but it didn't. I can't even see what is happening on the screen in portable mode. Hard pass.... DON'T BUY THIS GAME!!!

They tend to make decent games but their support is horrible (I'm literally waiting since 2017 to get someone to properly handle an issue which makes them the worst company I have ever dealt with).

The game has a really interesting concept and has crafted a fantastic world to tell its story in. Additionally, the mix of real-time stealth with turn-based combat is a really cool concept. I would consider getting the game on PC but the publisher used very polished screenshots in the Nintendo e-store which look nothing like the actual gameplay on the console, and I'm just not willing to give more money to a dishonest publisher. It is most ugly looking game on Switch, I'm so disappointed I have waited for Switch version to play it portably but in portable mode it is very hard even to identify game objects :(
Very lazy port, Switch is capable to handle much more advanced game with beautiful graphics as Doom, Zelda BoTW, Mario+Rabbids Kingdom Battle etc.
DO NOT BUY IT on Switch From this day I'm going to avoid

I honestly love this type of games but man the graphics on the switch are hellishly bad. Shame they think this is a good port to put put to the eshop.

Totally to avoid on Nintendo Switch. Bad porting, bad graphics. Cannot tell if the objects on the ground are stones or collectibles. Just a bunch of pixels put all together.

It's just garbage. It is unbearable to play, it is impossible to see anything, where is the enemy and where is just a stone. I feel sorry for every cent, it's unplayable. Piece of wild boar

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden - Deluxe Edition treats the player to a very good and competent blend of exploration and strategy which coupled with its simple but compelling plot and art style helps to make a game that can easily keep the player concentrated in the game for a long time. Overall, the experience could only improve if Mutant Year Zero : Road to Eden - Deluxe Edition featured a multiplayer mode.

This tactical action game will give you a sense of survival in a post apocalyptic world where you will apply stealth in turn-based fights to fulfill your mission, finding in your way items that you can later exchange for better weapons and more skills. Highly recommended.

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is a great game. The familiar tactical combat is fun, challenging and offers genuinely thrilling gameplay. The lore of the world is fascinating and the characters are well-written with charming personalities. Plus the exploration and upgrade cycle of the gameplay loop is thoroughly engaging. Unfortunately, for the Nintendo Switch version of the game all of this is spoiled by blurry visuals, ugly textures and various performance issues. I heartily recommend picking up Mutant Year Zero on the PC or your console of choice, however the Switch version just isn’t worth your time.
