Aug 6, 2018In the end, it took some patience, but Mugsters turned out to be an overall enjoyable experience that leads to many laughs, frustration, and sighs of relief that will be enjoyed by one and all.

Sep 28, 2018The added co-op adds to the value of the game, but the game’s frustrations hamper re-playability. The stripped down nature of the game is part its charm, but can work against it. Sometimes Mugsters’ sandbox just feels a little shallow.

Sep 19, 2018Thanks to an original level design and to an interesting cooperative mode, this turns out to be a rather fun effort when played on short gaming sessions. Overall it could feature more attention to detail on some elements, not to mention that its soundtrack needs serious improvement and its fluidity problems need to be addressed.

Jul 23, 2018Mugsters is a decent action puzzle game that will no doubt prove to be satisfying to a certain kind of audience. Goofy, physics-based puzzles, fun multiplayer, and a solid amount of content are definite positives, though these are hamstrung by the poor camera and grindy repetition of the gameplay. We’d give this one a light recommendation, as there’s plenty of enjoyment to be found, but this is by no means a must-play.

Sep 17, 2022Mugsters gave me something to play. The conclusion to the story was uninteresting to me. I wish this game was better, so I could recommend it.
