    While I wish the extra modes were better and that the levels were more consistent, Mini Motor Racing X has earned an ongoing spot on my Switch. Even its longer levels only take a few minutes, making it an ideal game to jump in and out of for just a few minutes. The core racing feels great, I truly can’t remember the last time I enjoyed an overhead arcade racer so much. There are a lot of good racing games on the Switch, but none of them scratches quite the same itch that this one does. As long as you go into it knowing what to expect, I think you’ll have a great time.

    Despite one or two issues, Mini Motor Racing X is a fast, frantic and fun little game that offers bitesize racing for everyone.

    We love a good arcade racing game, and in many ways Mini Motor Racing X delivers thrills in spades; it’s a reasonably fast, responsive experience with loads of vehicles and tracks to try out. Ultimately, though, there’s just nothing here that really stands out; nothing to tear you away from Mario Kart 8 or Rocket League. It’s quite content with being an entertaining alternative, and if you’re happy with that, then you’ll have a good time.

    This is a great 'burst' game for playing in short sittings. Races are fast, exciting and challenging. There is a nice range of vehicles to drive and unlock and there are plenty of different themed tracks and variable driving conditions for each. The courses are very short and compact which means races only last a couple of minutes (a bonus in my opinion). There are also lots of ways to customise your experience to suit your preferences and ability. I highly recommend this to 'casual' gamers!… Full Review »
