Jan 23, 2022It's very simple, and you really don't control very much, but I really enjoyed it. Not for everyone, but a simplr, relaxing and funny game. The ore imgaination you have when making your Miis, the funnier it is.

May 23, 2021Miitopia is just as good on the Switch as it is on the 3ds, maybe even better. I'm glad we're finally seeing the return of Mii games, they are always some of my favorites, and I hope we get more Mii ports and even some original Mii games.

Jun 1, 2021I love everything about this game. Only wish you didn’t need NSO to get Mii codes. I find most JRPGs too grindy but that’s not the case with this. Not the deepest game but lots of classes and personalities give it some replayability

May 23, 2021I've played the demo (it is a very large demo, with a lot of content) and I loved it! I
The game is so addictive, fun, and creative. The main story seems like a cliche, but I liked a lot. I'll buy the full version as soon as I can :) -
May 24, 2021The mechanics that you use are really fun to play with, the mii editor is amazing and really robust, you can almost make any character you can think of with enough time and put them in your adventure, I really liked the adventure that the player follows, overall I think the game is really good

May 23, 2021One of the most addictive games. Highly under the radar due to the Mii aspect. Do note you can have Donald trump as an important NPC, main character or evil…and you have loads of options to choose from, or start from scratch. The game as a very cute social bond aspect, personalities that have good and bad aspects to battle, job classes and a fun battle system. Highly recommend.

Jun 12, 2021Not a bad game, but it suffers because the Switch doesn't have streetpass, so I have to create every me, which can be a bit pace breaking, where as on the 3DS I had hordes of Mii's to choose from.

Jun 3, 2021An overpriced slooooooooooooooooooooow painful chore of a game. Avoid unless by-the-numbers "whimsy" is really your thing.

Jun 15, 2021This game is adorable. The addition of a horse is great. And the updated Mii maker is absolutely insane, I’d pay 50 bucks just to use all the miis everyone created, and I did. My only gripe is that you can’t control your other party members, which is a huge bummer. But that’s forgivable when I can fight along side Videogame and Anime characters.

Ninty Fresh MagazineDec 3, 2021While it’s fun to cast every role in your Miitopia adventure, it’s less thrilling to sit back and let this very hands-off game play itself. [Issue #4, p.57]

Nintendo Force MagazineOct 6, 2021Miitopia is a fun first RPG for young kids, and while it can also be fun for adults, the game quickly gets repetitive and unrewarding. It would be better as a multiplayer game on Switch, or even an online outing that had more to do. It really defeats itself as a solo game. Its real appeal lies not in the RPG adventure itself, then, but in how wildly robust the new Mii-making interface is. Some people may want to pick up the game for that feature alone. [Issue #53 – July/August 2021, p. 73]

CD-ActionJul 23, 2021Compared to the original released on 3DS in 2017, the Switch version of Miitopia looks better and offers a couple of additions, but it is pretty much the same thing. I had a lot of fun with it once again and I can recommend it to anyone looking for a funny (but not necessarily hilarious) game with an extraordinarily enjoyable gameplay loop. [08/2021, p.66]
