    Melatonin from Half Asleep was only released a few weeks ago, and it is already one of my favorite rhythm games on Nintendo Switch. Just like Gal Metal a few years ago, Melatonin excels in its simplicity while being quite challenging. This coupled with the gorgeous visuals and excellent music makes Melatonin an easy recommendation for fans of Rhythm Heaven and those looking for a challenging new music-focused game.

    Whether you're watering dream flowers, catching hamburgers in la-la land, or socking a few dingers mid-snooze, Melatonin makes and leaves behind a warm and inviting impression. You can even edit each of the non-mashup levels to make your own customized version. From both a gameplay and presentation standpoint, what's here is nearly unassailable, and the game serves as an exquisite reminder of just how spoiled we are with the wealth of indie titles on Switch and also how astonishing it is that it took until now to get a flattering facsimile of Rhythm Heaven on Nintendo's latest console. Playing this late at night might not boost your brain's melatonin levels, but it’s sure to leave you smiling before bed time.

    Very Fun Game, the Artstyle is really nice. The Atmosphere is a really great combination of, Artstyle, Ost and Gameplay.

    I love this game. Dreamy, surreal visuals (reminiscent of the Netflix series “Midnight Gospel”). The songs are bops. I love all of it! ThI love this game. So many games miss this out so I really appreciate that it’s there. Some of the levels are hard but I fully enjoyed the challenge - they’re not impossible to grasp. My tip is to feel the rhythm in your body, bop your head and move about a bit so you can feel the rhythm - that helped me. I’ve enjoyed replaying as it’s so much fun - it grabs my attention visually, through sound, and with my body too. Very immersive. I’m looking forward to the next one from this developer!… Full Review »
