Right in this collection you find all the best Mega Man X games! Greatly drawn stages and enemies, controls of charging / dashing / jumping greatness, a great rock soundtrack, the most epic 2d boss fights. All elements built up to Jump 'n' Shoot perfection!

A lot of galleries with art pieces of the blue bomber's universe complete this explosive package.

Worth the money, if you are looking to get into the Mega man x series this is the way to do it!
The game comes with a bunch of additional features such as the gallery and music (OST) which are really enjoyable for hardcore fans. Also a rookie hunter mode which really helps out people new to the series or assists you when getting through very difficult situations or bosses.
    X1 - fantastic

X1 - fantastic game to start off the series, did have some difficulty with the platforming on the Xbox controller. 8/10
X2 - better than the first game with more fun bosses and stages, music was however better in the first one 9/10
X3 - the most difficult out of the three but still a lot of fun, rookie mode was really helpful. I would say that the platforming was very difficult if not broken towards the last stages 7/10
X4 - easily my favorite out of the bunch, giving the option to play the story through either Zero or X easily a 9.5/10
Overall worth the purchase, much better than buying each game individually! 9/10

You get pounding rock soundtracks while fighting robotic whales, penguins, and mandrills. In conclusion, this is an amazing legacy collection that has great bang for your buck. Definitely check it out if you're a fun of the Mega Man series or if you are trying to get into it. Have a great day/night, folks! Expand

Back in the good old days, Mega Man is the ultimate action franchise for the NES. When I pop in that cartridge back in those days, I was mesmerized by its pounding rock soundtrack and great graphics. To this day, the original Mega Man X is still the best Mega Man since no 2. As per usual, its sequels end up presenting somewhat a diminishing set of returns. Yet the first half of this collection, covering X1-X4, is clearly the strongest. The other half, proves to be interesting attempt to go to the 2.5 D route that never really gels with players. However, this is clearly vintage Capcom: back in their glory days. An essential collection for retro gamers such as myself. Expand

X1 was the only Mega Man game I've ever played before getting this collection. Blasting through all four of these games as a singular experience is thrilling but also exposing of its slight aging. I still haven't finished X3 due to its totally unfair hit box sizes on each of its bosses.

Mega Man X games. This and MMLC2 are VERY mixed bags. Mega Man X1 and X2 are OK, but Mega Man X3 and X4 pale in comparison.

This is a good collection for all Megaman X and new Megaman X fans (because of rookie hunter mode).
Collection 1 has Megaman X1, Megaman X2, Meganman X3 and Megaman X4 and has the "better" games of the 2 collections.
I fully enjoyed playing all the game from 1 to 4 and has to be one of my favorite collection to date. I'm not gonna explain what megaman x entails because there are enough

    These four games are more than worth $20 alone. [Issue #35 – September/October 2018, p. 64]
