    The level of production found in Masquerada is above and beyond what I would have expected from a small team of 15 artists, programmers, and designers. From the impeccable writing to the beautiful music, everything about this game feels polished. Each and every character you meet is interesting and well developed, and the adventure is perfectly paced. Anyone with a passing fancy for RPGs and who loves a well thought out and engaging story would do well to give this title a look.

    All in all, the game was enjoyable from start to finish and I am really hoping for a sequel. The characters were charming, the plot was exciting, and the combat system was refreshing. If Witching Hour Studios has any plan to add more content into what they currently have or even make Masquerada into a series, I am fully supportive of it. The story was creative and there were so many little details that I am confident they can make more happen. I already miss Cicero and the rest of the group, and I’m sure if you play and finish the game, you will too. Next time, maybe less reading involved?

L’originalité du titre se trouve dans son ambiance sonore exceptionnelle qui nous propose un véritable petit opéra dans la cartouche! La direction artistique est magnifique et réussie. L’ambiance vénitienne du jeu est unique en son genre. Petit bémol, le système de combat du jeu aurait mérité sans doute un peu plus de profondeur pour nous proposer un réel challenge.… Full Review »
