    Incredibly polished, fun platformer! Taking inspiration from Donkey Kong Country and Rayman Origins and perfecting the movement! The Environments, animations and music are all breathtaking too! There wasn't a second where I didn't have a dumb smile on my face! Only criticisms are the lack of collectibles despite a very strong exploration aspect, there are a lot of secrets, but only forIncredibly polished, fun platformer!     Not in the same league as Tropical Freeze or Rayman Legends, this game still knows how to please.
    Beautiful graphics, nice music and solid handling.
    At the start you might think this game's going to be a walk in the park, but latter levels crank up the difficulty level, especially the hidden world and its Cataclysm mode which both don't have to be beaten to see the end credits.     One thing I like about this 2D platformer is that it doesn't exaggerate on collectibles, basically it's just fruit and feathers you can collect, the latter being replaced by eggs in the hidden world.
    Finally the only real negative point is its rather short duration, nonetheless it has been great fun going through.
    OK, there might be another one: I missed Franquin's original design of Marsupilami.    … Expand

    Marsupilami: Hoobadventure is a great platform game that, despite being aimed at children, knows how to entertain all kinds of players. It is true that it is easy and short, but it is also tremendously fun and will become one of the best proposals of the genre this year.

    Le Marsupilami et Le Secret du Sarcophage feels like a child-oriented Donkey Kong Country-like. Way more accessible and easier than the original formula, it will give to the youngest players a glimpse of what is to come, with its many secrets and evolutive yet conformist level design.

    A fun platform game that manages to offer pretty good entertainment without any real narrative material. Perfectly family-friendly, the game has the advantage of easily adapting to all ages without boring them. However, the experience would have gained by diversifying its level compositions in order to overcome its too-short lifespan.
