No me dijo nada. Más de lo mismo que las anteriores entregas. Si te gusta la línea de Mario y Sonic en los Juegos Olímpicos te gustará. Pero a diferencia con otros juegos similares de mini juegos, no me enganchó. He jugado un par de veces.

It’s a decent game and all but, why is the box art so basic and boring? And I also thought the story mode wasn’t so great with cutscenes like in Sonic Free Riders and I felt like there could’ve been more characters in the Tokyo 1964 part of the game. It’s a good game in my opinion, but doesn’t hold up like other Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games games. Still better than Sochi 2014

This is far and away the best Mario & Sonic, or Olympics video game ever. It's story is fun and charming and it's roster is huge. Most of the events are done better than the others and the graphics are fantastic. It's still, well, a plumber and a hedgehog jumping over a bar, but it's done in such a way where it dosen't feel like that.

Pretty good, if you ask me. Motion controls don't work sometimes, but it might just be my controllers. I kinda love the story mode, if you ask me. Might be worth your money with a good controller.

This game deserves so much hate for no reason. I mean, this game is amazing. Stellar graphics, amazing events, decent story mode...my god, this game is so good. My only complaint is how this 2019 game advertised the 2020 Olympic Games, which ended up being in 2021. But regardless, I recommend you stop your whining about how mid this game is, pop it into your Switch, and give it a try.

I always loved the idea of a Mario Olympic game. So I was over the moon when the first Mario & Sonic Olympics was released. It was a wee bit of fun then and it's still a wee bit of fun now.

Visuals and sound are on par with every other Nintendo sports game, it's everything you would expect. Even though there is a large selection of events, there isn't much in the ways of content. Sure,

Visuals and sound are on par with every other Nintendo sports game, it's everything you would expect. Even though there is a large selection of events, there isn't much in the ways of content. Sure, the story mode is some lighthearted fun, but that's all. It is nice to see a story driven single player experience, but it lacks a lot of depth and drags out a little bit too much. Like any Olympic video game, it's all about how each event controls. What we have here is some that control intuitively, clunky and everything in between. At least there is a nice variety to play around with though.

Overall, it's all a bit of fun for any Switch owner, but I would try to get it on a heavy discount (if that is even possible for a Nintendo game these days).

This game has pretty solid mini games. They are on par with Mario party in presentation and quite a bit more complex. Expect a lot of fun when playing with others. I wouldn't bother playing solo. The story is fairly meh but the quality in the mini games is there. It is also nice having some that will take time to master. Solid 8/10 if you have friends to play with. You won't be disappointed.

A really good game, but not as good as the version before. The scenery is nice, and the story mode is a great addition. Having options to play in more sports is good as well. This game is really fun with friends but if you have no friends or family to play with then it is quite boring also I do feel there could've been some more minigames, but I guess not. one funny thing about this game is the Tokyo Olympic games 2020 never happened.

This game is interesting to say the least. There is a lot going for this game and I really dig the retro vibe of it when you can play as 8-bit Mario or 16-bit Sonic. Story mode was fine but it dragged a lot at times. And maybe I am in the minority but I was not fond of some of the mini games. But that is neither here nor there as those were not my main issues.

    Some of the comtrols

Some of the comtrols for the game such as boxing and the other combat events, kayak (retro), and gymnastics were very difficult to control. This was primarily my main problem of the game and a big one at that.

This is without a doubt the best entry in this subseries.
Aesthetically gorgeous, fun events, fun story mode, colorful, it all adds up for a really solid experience.
The menus are easy to navigate, the online is a blast and easy to learn.
Only gripe is small, and that's that the extra characters are only playable in singular events.

Fun mini games, and a decent amount of content but who in gods name switched out the ability to have tournaments and replaced it with a crappy story mode.
Really hope they add in the ability to do anything other than quickplay or add a sticker mode much like Mario and Sonics 2016 outing.

The events are really fun to play. My personal favorites are Karate, 110m Hurdles and Gymnastics. These events are fun, and challenging, but not to challenging to beginners. There isn't really an event I hate playing, but I've definitely found my favorites.
The dream events are ok. I really like Dream Shooting and Dream Karate, but Dream Racing just feels off. I don't really know what it is, but dream racing doesn't click with me.
The retro events affect my score in a negative way, but not by much. I like that they're here, but I wouldn't mind if they were excluded. What really makes me want to quit the event the most, is the fact that I have to switch to my Joy-Cons, which are currently experiencing drift issues. This is because the controller I usually use has the button layout of a gamecube controller. Using Joy-Cons is easier because it has the button layout shown on screen, while the controller I usually use does not.
Online mode doesn't suck, which is something smash ultimate can't say. The majority of online games I've played have had no input delay, and very little lag. Even the 1v1 minigames feel really good. The major problem with it is that no one's online. It seems to be fairly difficult just to find a match online, but when you do, they are fun and the connection is rarely bad.
Story mode is cool, but not the best. The concept is great, I mean, getting sucked into a game machine sounds cool. When you play the actual events, it doesn't feel like you're doing the same thing every time. The main issue with the story mode in my opinion is that some of the events feel impossible, but maybe I just suck at the game.
The major issue I have with this game is there's very little replay value when you complete the story mode, unless you have friends that want to play a sonic game, which considering the reputation sonic games get, you probably won't have many people wanting to play. You could play online, but like I mentioned earlier, nobody's online, and I'm pretty certain it's going to be a wasteland in a few months because people will abandon the game. You could play the story mode again, or even try to speedrun it if that's your thing, but I personally don't think that'll add replay value to the game.
Overall, this is a fun game with a fun selection of events you can play and characters you can play as, but it's held back by the huge lack of replay value.

Divertido y sencillo.

I own most of the "Mario and Sonic" Olympic Games games and I must say, this one is the best one thus far, and BY far. The fact that the games will be held in Tokyo this time clearly affected the amount of work put into this game. It's polished, it's got a great amount of content... it even has a story mode that takes hours to beat. In the artistic department, it has some beautiful 3D representations of iconic Tokyo locations, and a nostalgic trip in the form of a 8-slash-16 bit mash-up mode inspired by the Tokyo 1964 Olympic Games. As for the mini-games, there are plenty to keep you entertained, and each has simple controls in the surface- yet it can be mastered the more you play them as more complex controls are revealed to you the more you play them. Overall it's a more engaging game than the previous entries in the saga. The roster of characters is pretty complete, with some extra characters here and there that you can unlock for specific events. It kept me entertained for more time than I had initially expected. Even the music is good- some of the retro-styled tunes are pretty catchy! Recommended for fans of both franchises, especially as a family game. Expand

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 is sixth installment in the franchise, as it stands somewhere in the middle. It may not be the best, but surely isn't the worst of them all. It looks superb, has a few really outstanding mini-games and even a selection of 10 retro styled ones for all you nostalgia lovers out there.

Overall, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 is the best game in the franchise for newcomers. The game offers an abundance of events and a charming story that’ll give younglings insight into the history of the Olympic Games. If you are looking into becoming a competitive athlete online, then this game will not be for you. However, it is perfect for any get together with friends and/or family, due to the game’s short session mentality.
