    This game is a must have if you own a Nintendo Switch. It's still the best party kart racing that the title is known for, there are decent clones out there but this game just perfectly runs so smooth on the Switch, nice fun friendly racing and battle mode experience for everyone.

    The best Mario Kart! As a casual you are getting everything you want from this game. Many tracks and characters, a good online and battle mode. The only thing i would have wanted more of is unlockable Tracks or achievements or something in this direction.

    Hands down the best Mario Kart ever. The graphics, the variety of character-vehicle combinations, the smoothness of the gameplay, the possible strategies to run better laps... This is the ultimate must have Switch game.

    The most fun racing game ever, the perfect remaster of the WIi U game, it has neither too few nor too many elements, the perfect combination for a game of this style. It's fun, easy, very beautiful and with a great variety of characters, cars, objects, game modes and maps (especially now with the DLC). A must for any Nintendo user

    There's really no way any racing game will outpace this one. Beautiful, smooth, charming, and tons of fun. The only downside to this version is that there isn't much to unlock or earn. Otherwise, the best party game for switch.

    Amazing port! Fun gameplay, awesome tracks, great soundtrack, solid online mode, and more. I wish the roster was better, otherwise fantastic game!

    This definitely is the definitive version of Mario Kart! More courses than ever before and a killer roster makes this a great experience on the Nintendo Switch. It runs as smoothly as can be and I've never been more impressed visually by a Mario Kart game (not that there's a ton of visual competition)!

    I would've also liked to see a "double dash" co-op option but I may be in the minority for a feature like that. Overall, it's the best Mario kart game I've ever played and Nintendo did a great job with this one. It absolutely deserves all the praise it has received.    … Expand

    I didn't play many Mario Kart games before but this one on Switch is a great party game. On one screen with four players, you never know whether you can be the first to the finish line no matter how far you lead. I generally don't play it solo or try to improve my skills, thus I can always find some interesting path when I play it with my friends and usually, I am not the first.

The graphics are good especially for a Switch game, most of the courses (looking at you Baby Park) are enjoyable both online and against A.I and you can play it anywhere you want at any time. The DLC makes the game even better by adding new characters (currently only Birdo but there will most likely be more), new tracks from previous titlesBy far one of the best games I have ever played! My only real complaint and the only reason why I didn't give this masterpiece a ten is that they made the AI a bit too hard in the latest update as it feels like they get the best item at the worst time for you and will always be closely behind you which now makes it an absolute pain to get 1st place in all four races in a Grand Prix. Besides that I totally recommend this to anyone who has a Nintendo Switch.… Expand

    i'm not sure a review wouid've been positive before the dlc, it was the same game as the one on wii u with two items instead of one.
    the dlc is adding more maps, some good some bad, but it's something more, finally.
    the online works great and it's very fun

    oh goody, i like this one, i enjoy this quite alot, i bought it, lost it, and bought it again, i have spent 200 dollars on mario kart 8 and i have no regrets

    El mejor juego de karts del mercado actualmente, muchas pistas, personajes, vehículos, online activo y con mucha variedad de modos. Es una gran experiencia casual y también competitiva.

    El mejor Mario kart, se ve muy bien le he dedicado muchísimas horas con amigos, lo tuve en la wii u y ahora en la switch y no cabe duda sigue siendo un juegazo a día de hoy y vale muchísimo la pena ahora con los nuevos circuitos que agregaron.

    One of the most fun games ever and the best Mario Kart, love to play it online and with friends.
    Hate the blue shell though, why a power up that doesnt help the one who gets it and is only good for making the 1st place get 2nd, but thats not why it isnt a 10 haha just the one thing i dont like about the game.
    Love the stable 60 fps and wish Nintendo would pursue for it more times.

    Magnifique jeu qui permet de jouer seul ou entre amis avec des combinaisons de persos et de l’arts nombreuses. Je trouve pratiquement toutes les courses très belles (certaines du DLC ne sont pas assez travaillées comme Amsterdam ainsi que l’herbe vert fluo qui me fait mal aux yeux) et le mode en ligne est très sympa et assez dur quand on arrive à un certain point pour ne pas nous ennuyer.Magnifique jeu qui permet de jouer seul ou entre amis avec des combinaisons de persos et de l’arts nombreuses.     I like everything in this game! It is expensive BUT very fun. The DLC stages are cooler than the others, so I want them without the DLC.

    Theres not that much to really work for, and what there is barely does anything, once you've unlocked all the parts, you've pretty much seen it all. But it is a amazing game with plenty of replay value.

    Mario Kart 8 DX is, by far, the best MK game in the series so far. It's wide variety of retro and nitro tracks makes each one memorable in it's own way. Finding the fastest shortcuts is incredibly fun and working on time trials is one of the best parts of the game. Although there are several problems with the local multiplayer, it's one of the best games on the Switch for this. The onlyMario Kart 8 DX is, by far, the best MK game in the series so far. It's wide variety of retro and nitro tracks makes each one memorable in it's own way. Finding the fastest shortcuts is incredibly fun and working on time trials is one of the best parts of the game. Although there are several problems with the local multiplayer, it's one of the best games on the Switch for this.     One of the best 4 player racing games available. It's hugely enjoyable with friends, with balanced game play and great graphics.

    1080p60 for single player and 2 player. 3-4 players and it drops to 30fps, but the drop is stable and the slower frame rate doesn't detract from the experience.

    I've not enjoyed a Mario Kart game as much since Mario Kart 64. A true classic.

    Versão melhorada do Mario Kart 8 de Wii U, se o jogo no original era bom, esse não seria diferente, a unica coisa que me incomodou é todas as pistas estarem desbloqueadas gostava da sensação de conquista em liberar, do resto diversão jogando de 2 em tela dividida ou no modo portatil, online sempre cheio.

    If you're playing with friends or online mario kart 8 is a great game, tonnes of tracks, tonnes of modes, and the 200cc mode is excellent. If however you're going to play single player, you're not going to have a very rewarding experience. There are no new tracks or characters really to unlock, your just playing for trophies and stars. 50cc and 100cc are    Good game ruined by bad AI.

    If however you're going to play single player, you're not going to have a very rewarding experience. There are no new tracks or characters really to unlock, your just playing for trophies and stars. 50cc and 100cc are boringly easy, 150cc now seems defunct because of the far superielor 200cc where you actually need to breaking during your drifts.

    Time trials are pretty fun, but the GP is just an infuriatinf mess most of time. Probably the worst since mario kart 64 (where ai controlled cars would go faster if you over took them preventing you getting a substantial lead.) What makes mario kart 8 gp so bad is the number of cars, theres 12 in a race and they are all gunning for you. You can pretty much predict the order that they'll all finish every race, which is annoying when you don't win a cup after being hammered by everyone on the last lap, even though you placed 1st in the other races. Double dash still remains the best in the series in terms of gameplay. This one is by far the best in terms of content though.    … Expand

    Графика топ, простое управление, много разных персонажей, весело играть на пару и подбивать друг друга панцирями. Гибкий выбор сложности (если 50 кубов - спокойная езда с перестрелками, то 200 - уже активные гонки с дрифтом и срезами путей). Зайдёт даже тем, кто не особо гонки любит, т.к. основная часть геймплея здесь -    Шикарная игра как для одного, так и для компании.

    Графика топ, простое управление, много разных персонажей, весело играть на пару и подбивать друг друга панцирями.

    Гибкий выбор сложности (если 50 кубов - спокойная езда с перестрелками, то 200 - уже активные гонки с дрифтом и срезами путей).

    The best mario kart to date for sure, the graphics and gameplay are fine tuned. Would've preferred a brand new game for the Switch over a remake of the Wii-U one though.

    You could see Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as an easy port, because it is to a certain extent. But it would be silly to disregard the ultimate fun this kart experience offers because of this. If you have a Nintendo Switch, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is an essential purchase you will play for over three years and never regret buying.

    Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a refinement rather than a remaster, but one that corrects the few flaws of its predecessor. It would be nice if there was just a bit more new content to help justify the full price release, or if you didn't have to unlock kart mods all over again, but for the foreseeable future, this is the definitive – and best – Mario Kart experience.
