Newcomers who have heard of that game’s legend may want to wait for a demo or a price drop – but at only $20, this is one of the rare games out there you can blind buy and get a lot of enjoyment out of without worrying about buyer’s remorse. It plays like a dream, looks good, and is a satisfying score-based game that makes you want to keep playing to do better – not force you into doing so.

There’s plenty to like about Marble It Up! in its current form, but if you’re not a diehard fan of the genre, it may be worth waiting for a sale due to how short Marble It Up! feels. It’s absolutely a well-crafted experience that looks, sounds, and plays great. It’s just a little frustrating to see another indie game on the Switch eShop that feels a little light on content, especially with its price point.

Marble It Up is something I never really knew I wanted until I played it. It takes such a simple concept and executes it brilliantly. If you’ve never played the marble rolling platformers of the past, this is a great place to jump in. The only downside right now is that you can probably finish this in a few hours. I hope more levels are added in the future.

Marble it Up is an enjoyable game, but the short length might turn some people off, especially for its twenty dollar price point. If you’re someone who is constantly trying to better their times in games with time trials, or you’re a completionist that just has to unlock everything, Marble it Up will definitely keep you busy trying to find new and interesting ways to finish each stage as fast as possible. Otherwise, the minimal content might turn some off for now, enjoyable as the current amount of content might be.

Marble It Up is easy to universally recommend as I can't imagine anyone not enjoying mastering its clever levels.

Marble It Up is a cool racing platformer that lives in the realm of games like Super Monkey Ball. The controls are quick to learn and the gameplay is simple yet satisfying. The visuals and level designs are wonderful and no two levels look the same. Unfortunately the game doesn't take long to beat, but it's still worth the ride.

Still, putting its minor issues aside, Marble It Up! has proven to be a fun little gem. Indeed, it is quite little in its current form, but if you enjoy 3D platformers, then this should still be up your alley nonetheless. But, seriously, don’t let us down on those level packs, Engine Company. If anything, charge them for a very small fee. After all, its asking price is already $20, and there are other indie games that include more content for less. Thus, Marble It Up! is a game that can definitely hang around for a while if additional content is easy to obtain.

Marble It Up! features some varied and fun gameplay mechanics, which coupled with its well polished visual environment and emphasis on improving the player's performance make this an interesting effort. Where Marble It Up! gets a bit lost is when it comes to its short content and its lack of interest for less experienced players, who will be put off by the game's pressure to repeat its levels.

In the end, my recommendation for Marble It Up is based upon what kind of games you like to play or are looking for. Those longing for a title chock-full of content will be disappointed, but those after a small time sink that rewards commitment and mastery, then Marble it Up is a great game to fill those voids.

Marble It Up as it is right now is an excellent marble puzzle platformer with not a lot of meat on its bones. It’s hard to recommend in its current form because it’s so threadbare, but it’s something worth keeping an eye on as updates are made.

If you have been waiting for something approaching a new Super Monkey Ball, or just want a pretty direct translation of the Marble Madness formula, Marble It Up! has you covered. Just don't expect a lot from it and you will probably be very satisfied.

Ultimately Marble It Up! comes across as a game that is partially underdeveloped. There’s a solid foundation that’s been built, but it’s not going to be a game that wows or amazes its players.

Yes, the content to price ratio is high, but this game nails the genre. The controls are tight and feel just right, camera moves smoothly. The levels are inventive. The music is great-with a techno feel to keep you moving. And there are enough challenges and scores to beat that will keep you returning for more runs.

I know it is a good game, because even when i "lose" and my marble falls, there is still a smile on my face.

I have wanted to play Marble Blast for years and now with this new title I can!

Loving the game so far, although minimal it hits every note that made its predecessor immensely enjoyable. Tight controls, fun physics, unique level design, and all the cool marble skins you know and love.
