Feb 3, 2019Mages of Mystralia has a familiar and nostalgic feel. The beautiful artwork, the puzzles, and the boss battles all are done right. The game is hindered by the lack of world and character depth, and the loading screens can be a pain. However, overall, Mages of Mystralia is an enjoyable journey and for those of you that enjoy puzzles and spellcrafting, this is certainly a good choice.

Feb 5, 2019Excellent little game. You can finish the story in just under ten hours, but this is a quality title with a creative spellcasting system. Beautiful art, gorgeous soundtrack and atmosphere, challenging puzzles, and adorable characters. Overall, a great old school ARPG.

Mar 26, 2019It’s hard to imagine anything here sticking with you much beyond when you’re playing it. You’re sure to enjoy Mages of Mystralia while you’re playing it — and if you’re a fan of isometric RPGs, it’s certainly worth thinking about playing it — but I can’t imagine it’ll stick with you once you put the controller down.

Mar 12, 2019A charming adventure game with a fun spell crafting system. It is a lot of fun to play for the first few hours but suffers due to repetitive combat and a touch of poor pacing. Nevertheless, Mages of Mystralia is a fun one if you need something on the lighter side of things.

Mar 5, 2019Mages of Mystralia is far from a good game, but it fits perfectly on a Nintendo Switch. Monotonous gameplay and puzzles are overshadowed by the sheer number of spell combinations.
