Mad Carnage's premise is incredibly unique and has a lot of promise. Unfortunately, the restrictive nature of its story campaign and bland visuals make it not live up to its full potential. Here's hoping we see a much improved sequel sometime down the road.

Mad Carnage has a few things going for it in the form of its movement mechanics and the comic strip-led story sections, but they’re packaged together with an experience that doesn’t do them justice. Everything else is far too basic, and thus it fails at building a cohesive experience that we could recommend.

You either move and shoot exactly how the devs want you to or you fail and start over. Trying to use momentum to determine movement in this style game is awful. Turning around takes most vehicles 4+ turns.

I only spent $2.50 on this game on sale and I don't think I'll get my moneys worth.
