    Nice nostalgic art style, but there are countless games that do it better. Interesting gameplay mechanic, but the controls are not great. Never really knew where i was going or what i was doing or why. Not terrible if you want to kill some time, but nothing more

    This game is bad. Like, don't even bother. You'll only be disappointed. Interesting gameplay ideas. Bad story. Bad maps and level design. The art looks nice, the transformations seem interesting, but that is all the game has going for it.

    Mable and the Wood could have been a smoother, more intuitive experience, and it is only disappointing that it isn’t. The idea was a good one, but its execution leaves much to be desired.

    Mable & the Wood had a lot going for it: the promise of a Metroidvania, a slew of interesting mechanics, and a decent storyline. But the final product isn’t worth your time or the asking price (even with a launch discount).
