I love when games provide freedom while also ensuring that each step of progress is satisfying and Locomoto does just that in all its cuteness.

Running your own train doesn’t sound all that engrossing, but Locomoto makes it an absolute dream. Improving your train over time, all while visiting quaint little towns and helping out the townsfolk, is a wonderful way to spend time, so consider this a must-play if you’re a cosy game fan.

If you like trains, enjoy traveling and cozy games, you should reserve your seat in Locomoto. The simple gameplay loop is well-received and will keep you entertained for hours.

Locomoto is a perfectly pleasant cozy experience that will scratch that itch if you're looking for something a little different to do than start a farm. Full of whimsy and fun characters, you've definitely had a worse train experience than this one.

Locomoto is a really lovely game, and with the array of customisation options for your train plus a delightfully low stakes story.

Locomoto is a charming train ride that more than delivers on its cozy promise. Yes, it has some technical and narrative ups and downs, but nothing that can't be fixed with love and future updates. If you're looking to relax, decorate adorable trains, and help lovable characters, Locomoto is just what you need.

Locomoto is clearly a game that puts the 'vibes' first. For a slice of its runtime, it was perfectly pleasant, but by the end, I was running on fumes. Yet, if it's a sedate and steady adventure with solid characters and a cosy atmosphere you're after, you'll love this. Just don't expect a lot of variety.

Locomoto promises to be a relaxing train game, and maybe it is for some, but it lacks immersion. It lacks polish in many aspects, such as graphics, interactions and quality of life. It would be much more interesting if its decoration and crafting system were more optimized.
