    Finished this in an afternoon and absolutely felt like I got my monies worth.

    This was wonderful. It was so charming, cute, funny, whimsical, weird and deeply depressing at times. This at a few points gave me shivers with its narrative. I adored this main character so much and this game did such a good job building her up to someone recognizable that you can care for.     This at a few points gave me shivers with its narrative. I adored this main character so much and this game did such a good job building her up to someone recognizable that you can care for.

    This is a purely narrative game so not much to talk about for gameplay. What you do contribute for gameplay though did help me feel involved in the overall narrative to keep my attention.

    Not particularly fun or interesting to play. Gameplay is minimal as its an interactive story, and the choices you can make feel rather trivial. Moreover, the story itself feels poorly executed with only brief moments of competence. The voice acting is good and there are interesting characters and environments, but they feel undercut by the game's shortcomings.     This game is actually a 6, but I’m scoring lower to balance out all the ridiculous (likely paid) 10 scores. Its style is delightful, art and voicing. But the story is is incredibly childish for a game aimed at an older audience. It tries to put weight on the only thing you actually control - A/B choices. But they hardly matter.     Beautiful visuals, great voice acting and the game has tons of character and made me actually laugh out loud. It’s more of an interactive story than a gamey game so be aware of that before going in just in case it’s not your cup of tea, but it’s really fun and original and I would recommend it to anyone looking for something unique and just an overall great way to be entertained!     Your job is to help guide a wildly imaginative little girl named Misfortune as she plays a game with a (mostly) unseen narrator to win the prize of eternal happiness for her long-suffering mother. As she wanders around her neighborhood she's confronted with numerous choices to make, each one resulting in consequences, a new concept for Misfortune, that can come back to haunt her later on,Your job is to help guide a wildly imaginative little girl named Misfortune as she plays a game with a (mostly) unseen narrator to win the prize of eternal happiness for her long-suffering mother. As she wanders around her neighborhood she's confronted with numerous choices to make, each one resulting in consequences, a new concept for Misfortune, that can come back to haunt her later on, or, perhaps at best, haunt her just a little bit less. In the end, it takes a healthy dose of optimism on her part in the face of numerous challenges and fears to conquer the game so she can end up finding what she's looking for. The consolation prize, though, doesn't seem to be a complete loss, either. This game's aesthetic is astounding, with a magnificent art style and exceptional voice acting, and, taken as a visual novel, the plot is captivating as you move from challenge to challenge, solving puzzles (which are quite easy) to determining the best course of action for every choice presented to you. As with many visual novels, there is limited replay value except for achieving a better score, in this game determined by successful glitter drops in all the right places (and Misfortune's love of glitter absolutely can not be understated), but the adventure of even a single playthrough is worth the time you put into it.… Expand

    If you have a dark sense of humour then you'll enjoy your time with Little Misfortune's brief and unique campaign. Just don't expect to enjoy any sort of gameplay because aside from the odd interaction, there really isn't anything to do besides watch and laugh.
