Experiencing it again on Nintendo Switch has been great as this is the first time Life is Strange 2 is playable on a portable. Thanks to a competent conversion by the same studio that handled the Switch port for Life is Strange: True Colors, Life is Strange 2 is an easy recommendation for fans of the series and newcomers who want to play it on the go.

Life is Strange 2 on the Switch is simply that. Are you a person who has managed to not touch the series or this particular entry yet? Do you only have a Switch? Then this is the version for you. The core game is an excellent narrative adventure full of emotional ups and downs. On Switch it may be inferior to PC, PlayStation, or Xbox but now all players can enjoy the full Life is Strange trilogy wherever they would like.

An incredible game that holds up just as well as its 2018 release, but is held back by the Switch’s handheld performance.

Life is Strange 2 is finally available for Nintendo Switch users, and it comes ready to once again plunge us into the shocking stream of events surrounding the lives of brothers Sean and Daniel, with the distinctive subdued touch of the supernatural that prevails in each installment of the Life is Strange saga.

While bad load times and mediocre visuals make its Switch port far from perfect, Life is Strange 2 still provides an impactful experience.

Life is Strange 2 on the Nintendo Switch holds true to its story-telling ability and deep dialogue choices while offering a good-enough option for those wanting to take the game on the go.

Life is Strange 2 is a worthy entry in the narrative series that improves upon the first game in meaningful ways with a story that's both thrilling and emotional. The gameplay hasn't changed much and we'd argue that some areas have a few too many objects to interact with, but the dialogue choices remain just as fun as ever. Bar some annoying load times on Switch and some visual hiccups, Life is Strange 2 is definitely worth picking up if you're a fan of narrative adventures.

The Switch version of Life is Strange 2 is not the best version of this adventure. However, this doesn’t make it a terrible choice. The experience is serviceable on both handheld and docked modes, and while the models lack graphically, as the game progresses, shadows and dirt make them look more natural. Unfortunately, players won’t find anything new or impressive with this port. Regardless, I recommend this version to those who haven’t played it before or are looking for a new title to play while on the go, proving that a tale of two brothers is excellent no matter what version players decide to play.

Life is strange 2 is a fantastic story-based 3D adventure around the brothers Sean and Danieldye, which picks up difficult topics like racism and police brutality, but also shows the wonderful side of a growing, bonding brotherhood. Sadly the Nintendo Switch Version seems not to be really tested before the release, so its full of glitches and old graphics, which destroy the gameplay a lot. Overall: great story, but better play it on another platform.
