Mar 9, 2020I’m not sure Wet Dreams Don’t Dry is worth playing if you’ve never been on an adventure with Leisure Suit Larry before, but those of us who have will enjoy the trip back in time to…uh…2020. The comedy is mostly there, the frustrating puzzles are fully there, and the lessons therein will make us take a critical look at ourselves if we’re open to doing so. Larry’s always been useful in that way.

Jul 19, 2019Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don’t’ Dry is a return to form for Larry Laffer and this new release successfully erases the nightmare of recent entries like Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust from memory. While the obtuse puzzles make things hard and difficult to overcome, the experience is mostly satisfying. The quirky humor may not please everyone, but such is love. Wet Dreams Don’t Dry is a fantasy worth having if you are a fan of the series and looking to reunite with your old friend Larry.

Jul 1, 2019Available on PC since November 2018, Leisure Suit Larry Wet Dreams Don't Dry is a nice tip of the hat to the old games. The point'n click gameplay is solid, and if there's nothing new, it still all feels fun and tight.

Jun 23, 2019While playing a Leisure Suit Larry game is the gaming equivalent of being seen reading a copy of the Daily Sport, this mostly unwanted revival of the series is actually far better than anyone was expecting. Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don't Dry's 2D art style has a ’90s comic book feel to it, while the simple point-and-click gameplay is a far better fit than the awful open-world approach the Larry Lovage games took in recent years. While some of the jokes do land, many don’t (even with its tongue impaled through its cheek), and with some often utterly obtuse puzzle designs you’re probably better off enjoying the superior offerings this genre has to offer on Switch.

Jun 17, 2019If you’re desperate for a sleazy point and click adventure on Switch, you might get some enjoyment out of Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don’t Dry. It’s certainly not unplayable. But as point and click games go, its lack of a compelling story and poor puzzles relegate it to the bargain bin. Larry Laffer may be back, but he’s going to need better moves if he wants to attract the attention of 21st century gamers. You can only ride the coattails of past success for so long.

Sep 9, 2020I really enjoyed this adventure. The devs did a great job keeping the humor original first three Larry games. I can't wait for the next part.
