    Legendary Eleven just kind of feels and looks like a fuzzy drawing of EA’s FIFA games. It’s passable at best, but is off enough to not be worthwhile if you’re seeking out some good old-fashioned arcadey soccer on your Switch. The only hope for Legendary Eleven is that developer Eclipse Games is going to update it over time, but as long as the base feels this raw and frustrating, I can’t recommend it.

    Legendary Eleven tries to capture the spirit of football's previous eras in a moment when the World Cup is about to start and while the intention is good (it certainly manages to do part of it), the execution throws its ambition on the ground. Due to a control system that makes the players feel like they are not in control at all and to a series of bugs and other technical flaws, the experience of Legendary Eleven is harmed beyond the levels of what is acceptable and the result is a game that is completely inadequate to what it proposes.

    Bought on a whim because of lack soccer games on Switch. Turned out to be a solid arcade soccer game with multiplayer.     Bought this game when it came out on the Switch and, despite the low price, the game is far from being on a acceptable quality. I knew the game modes were lacking (you can only play 5 tournament cups with around 25/30 teams) but the Switch version is a buggy mess. I was forced to restart games more than once due to system crashes, inability to tackle the opponent or to be tackled or the ball crossing the line and just staying there. Since this game was realeased on Steam a month or so ago, it's expected to be updated eventually but for 9 euros and such a cool concept, it's a shame the game suck right now.

    EDIT: They since have fixed the bugs that make the game crash but evertything else is the same.    … Full Review »
