    Is a funny little game, but is some kind repetitive, the game bring the concept of friendship, it would be cool if I don't have to see the same scene a bunch of times each time the player combine their power with their friends.

    This game was just alright. The game is really easy, which I would forgive for a kirby game, but it really feels like an unmemorable kirby game. It was also just kinda boring and the gimmick also felt annoying because the friends just kill everyone and keeps you from getting your own ability.     - dit spel heeft hetzelfde probleem als New Soup Wii. designed voor 4 en dat geeft voor lege levels

    - de game heeft de 3D mechanic van de 3ds games niet meer. de mechanic geeft meer diepte en geeft een gevoel van plaats +/- je kunt de game perfect alleen spelen en wanneer je vrienden nodig hebt zijn ze beschikbaar. je kan je vrienden ook verwijderen + dit is de moeilijkste Kirby    - dit spel heeft hetzelfde probleem als New Soup Wii. designed voor 4 en dat geeft voor lege levels

    - de collectibles zijn geen focus meer. 1 speciaal puzzel stuk en soms 1 switch dat levels vrijspeeld

    +/- de minigames zijn hoe ze vroeger waren: kort en 1 off. persoonlijk vindt ik het niet erg want ze zijn niet de focus van de game

    ? ik snap niet waarom mensen denken dat deze game unfinished is. ik denk dat het komt door de empty level design. maar de game heeft heel veel content, waarschijnlijk nummer in de serie op dit vlak

    conclusie:
    deze game is inferior van de 3ds games. de game is toch nog wel een goeie tijd. zeker de moeilijkste in de serie    … Expand

    Fun Kirby game, but needs more options and content. Also, even for a Kirby game the difficulty level is painfully low.

    I don't get the negativity this game has received. It's most definately not the best 2d platformer, or even the best Kirby game, but I enjoyed it. It's fine.

    With all that said, this entry in this lovely franchise is just weak and shallow. Short and easy to a fault. It makes finding collectables and reaching 100% a boring chore and the level design is just bland.
    It's fun, but it gets old quickly and just doesn't change things enough as other Kirby titles did.

    I really didn't have high hopes for Star Allies, but damn... The only way I'd recommend this is if you have someone to play it. Otherwise, just stick with the other Kirby games.    … Expand

    I guess this is an OK game to play casually with your younger children. Having played several Kirby games however I feel like this time it has degraded into a mindfless button mashing and there's simply too much going on on the screen all the time. In my opinion "return to dreamland" was the best Kirby experience.     I'm no Kirby fan but it can't be a good sign if the mini-games are more fun than the actual base game. The sprite work and animation are good but the controls are so sluggish and the difficulty is non-existent. If there is literally no challenge at all, what is the point of playing besides looking at the colorful visuals?

    Kirby Star Allies overall is a good game. It has absolutely excellent graphics. The game only runs at 30fps, but it's not very noticeable. The story is simple as always, but that's never the focus of these games. It has a fair amount of extra content and the controls are great. However, the story mode (the main game mode) is very easy and short, the levels are repeatable and not creative.Kirby Star Allies overall is a good game. It has absolutely excellent graphics. The game only runs at 30fps, but it's not very noticeable. The story is simple as always, but that's never the focus of these games. It has a fair amount of extra content and the controls are great. However, the story mode (the main game mode) is very easy and short, the levels are repeatable and not creative. They are well designed and fun to play, but not interesting. Even finding all collectibles is easy and tedious. The game has a lot of fan service, which can sometimes be fun for players who are already fans of the franchise, but it often gets a little over saturated. The new game mechanic is being able to convert up to 3 enemies into CPU players to play alongside you, including several other major characters from previous Kirby games like King Dedede, Marx, Magolor and several others. In my opinion this was mainly done for fan service and is not used very well. They even make the game easier as they help to kill enemies and can even solve puzzles without the player doing anything. Certainly multiplayer is the main focus of the game, and it works very well. Players have plenty of space in the levels, and it's easy for casuals to just pick up the game and play, due to its simplicity. But like I said, the game can be repetitive when you consider the whole thing. However, alternative modes can offer something more to do, even if you're a more hardcore gamer. We have a mode where we go through a series of levels as quickly as possible using any of Kirby's helpers (including extra characters from older games), a mode where we go through a boss race, and another mode where we go through some Different stages to pick up collectibles ​​solving puzzles that are really challenging, unlike the main mode puzzles. In conclusion, Kirby Star Allies is very average. The story mode is very simple and easy, which is good for casual gamers, but not for more hardcore gamers. However, the extra content makes it easier to find a little more fun. But it's mainly made for people who want a simpler experience or for people who already have some familiarity with the franchise.… Expand

One new gimmick isn’t enough for me to overlook a franchise that needs some new life breathed into it very soon. Again, not a bad game, but the Kirby formula might just be stale for me at this point. That doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy the time I had with the game though, short as it was it was a breeze to fly through & I never had a moment where I was frustrated. It’s also a very pretty game to look at, more games need to start utilizing the Switch better *cough every Pokémon game on Switch cough* so they get results that look like this game & Mario Odyssey. The main gimmick is also a major step down compared to Planet Robobot, I still enjoyed it for what it was though. But if you played any Kirby game before, you’ve played this one by proxy. Kirby starts his journey investigating around Popstar & eventually goes into space to defeat an evil shadowy force, how many times is he gonna do this?? I know if it ain’t broke don’t fix it but I really want something MORE out of these games after all these years.. Again, it’s a fun & short breeze of a game but you should not spend $60 on it like I did, if you can somehow get it for $30 it’s well worth it especially if you have friends. Good luck with that since Nintendo is deathly allergic to putting their games on sale no matter the quality.… Expand

    Yeah this game was the first to implement Buff Dedede, and it gets a lot of credit for bringing back tons of old Kirby characters and making them playable, but the game itself is super short. It just feels like this game would have been perfect if it was a little longer and they added online co-op or something.     this game is fun but its soo easy to the point its sad the game should be harder also im tried of the enimes waddle dee shouldnt be in every game the freind heart is way to op and the freind power-ups are meh where is my fire fighter or my leaf sword its just not that good

The gameplay is not that challenging (which made it the perfect hangover time-killer for me and a buddy). Its funny to play together. It is also a joy to see Kirby get the graphic upgrades he and his world have deserved for some time in this game.     It's not a bad game I had alot of fun playing it with my friends and I would recommend it to the right person however I don't think it's worth the full price. wait for a sale. I enjoyed playing the game but it left a bitter taste in my mouth with how short it was. if you love Kirby this game is definitively worth the pick up

    Energetic and fun, if they would focus more on the fun or some competitive gameplay this formula could be a great party game. It feels more fresh than pretty much all the platformers coming out. But since it is similar to other kirby games, it is a bit overpriced

    I can't say it's my favourite kirby of all time but it is good overall. The story is descent, but the levels are really good designed and the new abilities are cool. I enjoyed the game more after I finished the story with the game modes. You can play with tons of characters and even the villains of old games. I recommend it for platformer lovers and Kirby fans but I wouldn't say it's a must play.

    es un buen juego cooperativo con mecanicas divertidas que mantiene muy bien el espiritu de kirby, si nunca o casi nunca has jugado un juego de plataformas y tienes un amigo con quien jugarlo seguro que vale la pena obtenerlo en una oferta, pero si eres un fan de kirby de la vieja escuela o de cualquier otro juego de plataformas vas a quedar algo decepcionado, el diseño de niveles eses un buen juego cooperativo con mecanicas divertidas que mantiene muy bien el espiritu de kirby, si nunca o casi nunca has jugado un juego de plataformas y tienes un amigo con quien jugarlo seguro que vale la pena obtenerlo en una oferta, pero si eres un fan de kirby de la vieja escuela o de cualquier otro juego de plataformas vas a quedar algo decepcionado, el diseño de niveles es mediocre por no decir tonto y ademas es un juego muy, muy facil si te gustan los juegos de plataformas y nunca has jugado un juego de kirby no te recomiendo para nada que empiezes con este.… Expand

Yes the game does look very beautiful and the combat is very well made, but the gameplay is so weak. At least the bosses and music are nice, also the inclusion of extra modes is cool however they are pretty much repetitive as you go on. Kirby Star Allies is how not to make an easy game but the extra modes bosses and music make it kinda of unique, however it’s so easy that even the harder difficulty’s get stupidly boring and hard.     Kirby star allies succeeds with it’s graphics, but sadly it isn’t the best Kirby game out there. The story mode I felt was very lackluster. There was only a handful of levels and they felt so uninspired. This game was fun for me to play but I wish that we got more content than just dream characters.

That’s not to say the tunes were bad, they just tended to be less memorable then other entrees. Aesthetically, the game looks quite nice, going for an almost clay-like style. The level design was far less interesting than robobot & triple deluxe. Party due to there not being as many colectibles this time around. The game is also the easiest mainline Kirby game to date. Star allies also hands out way to many stars, so they’ve completely lost their value. It kind of feels like NSMB2 kirby edition. The bosses are also way to simplistic. None of them had ex forms until December, which is dissapointing. One thing I really like is how each of the dream friends had a lot of thought & care put into them. I’m giving this game a 6/10 which is still a positive rating.… Expand

    Though it’s not technically perfect by any means, Star Allies remains entertaining from start to finish. Let the puffball meet the misfits, it’s time for Kirby to shine on Switch.

    Kirby Star Allies makes the simplicity of smiling a lasting thing. The game is beautiful and has music that impresses by it's quality. The title is very amusing and if you can join three more friends, you will have one of the funniest experiences on the Nintendo Switch. It is an experience that should be appreciated in its entirety.
