Apr 12, 2024I would recommend this game to players who love open world RPGs and are looking for more of a challenge. There is also a really awesome online community surrounding this game; mainly helpful tips and tricks as well as fun and meaningful discussions amongst players. A sequel has been all but confirmed as well. Let us know in the comments if you have played or plan to play Kingdom Come Deliverance: Royal Edition and what your opinions are on there possibly being a sequel!

Apr 2, 2024Kingdom Come: Deliverance retains all of its charm on the modest handheld device. Despite graphical compromises, the game still looks nice, and occasional pop-ins and reduced texture quality are not overly distracting. The frame rate fluctuates between 30 and 20 FPS depending on the complexity of the scene, but the majority of the game runs at 30 FPS. However, occasional longer loading times can be somewhat bothersome and seem random.

Mar 22, 2024An amazing porting for one of the most compelling RPG ever.

Mar 20, 2024Kingdom Come Deliverance: Royal Edition brings the game to the Nintendo Switch in about as good a form as the hardware is capable of, thanks to the talented and experienced folks at Saber Interactive. While there is no mistaking this for the versions on more powerful hardware, this isn’t a bad way to play the game at all. It’s another “impossible port" to enjoy on the go for Switch owners.

Apr 14, 2024KingdomCome Deliverance Royal Edition is another example that you can port a big game to the Nintendo Hybrid. Here, we have a great medieval action game full of possibilities that, although original in its save system concept, cannot beat the frustration that is repeating all the time the simplest things that you have to do. Sometimes, innovation and diversification doesn't always mean fun. Sometimes it can be pure frustration.

Mar 27, 2024Despite the muddy graphics, an extremely ambitious port! But the weak performance prevents the medieval experience from unfolding properly. We would have preferred to see the game on the Switch 2!

Mar 21, 2024If you give yourself over to Warhorse’s muddy opus, it will reward you with a hundred hours of grueling and enjoyable trial and error. It’s buggy and rough around the edges on Switch, but Kingdom Come Deliverance is a singular RPG experience. The pacing and constant juggling of mechanics is not for everyone, but invest the time and you’ll experience an engrossing, grounded adventure.

Apr 9, 2024A medieval colossus with some limitations and flaws in this Switch version, although satisfying for the experience it provides.

Apr 8, 2024Kingdom Come: Deliverance for Nintendo Switch remains a large, slow-paced RPG full of numbers and choices, set in realistically depicted Middle Ages. The resolution obviously took a nasty hit, so I don’t recommend playing this version on a TV, and the controls are not very intuitive, but I’m still amazed that the whole experience is available on a handheld console. Nevertheless, while the game is definitely worth playing, you should consider whether to play it on a Switch specifically.

Apr 2, 2024Kingdom Come: Deliverance remains an incredibly deep and interesting game, dogged by the twin bugbears of combat and saving. Unfortunately, the Switch isn't really the right home for it.

Jun 5, 2024Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an open-world immersive world action RPG. You can go anywhere. You can make a lot of choices in terms of what your character will do. There are so many options and choices, in fact, that it becomes intoxicated with how immersive it is and forgets to be fun to play.
