    Reminiscent of the original Donkey Kong Country trilogy this game gets its gameplay right. It's a nice little 2D platformer with variance and good controls.

    But its art style is where this game messes up: The level sequence feels incoherent, if it at least the levels were themed after the worlds they take place in. The graphical style is neither fish nor flesh, too polished to be    Reminiscent of the original Donkey Kong Country trilogy this game gets its gameplay right. It's a nice little 2D platformer with variance and good controls.

Finally its story is thin and purely anecdotal.

    Another Game from Braisil, this one is more simple and nostalgic.. but Is not a masterpiece you know?

    Kaze and the Wild Masks will make every fan of classic platformers feel right at home. It borrows the best elements from the legends of the genre, but never feels like a cheap copy. It doesn’t try to be innovative, but it looks great, delivers fun in spades and never gets dull, as literally every level has something new to show you. [05/2021, p.62]

    Kaze and The Wild Masks takes us back to the classic 90s games, such as Donkey kong, Crash Bandicoot and many other platform games. With great animations and a fun gameplay, this title must be on the list of those who love this type of game.

    Replace its lead rabbit with an ape in a red tie and you might even say that Kaze and the Wild Masks is Donkey Kong Country 4 in disguise. But, at the end of the day, its lack of originality doesn’t hurt just how much fun it’s been making my way through this eight or so hour adventure. The Donkey Kong Country trilogy was fun for a reason and Kaze and the Wild Masks serves as an excellent reminder of why that was.
