Oct 10, 2023Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai isn’t an outright terrible game, but I’m having trouble thinking of any scenario wherein a person would be satisfied with what it offers as a full-priced title. Its choice to be a story game with sprinkles of action perhaps could have worked, but the way that narrative is conveyed here simply lacks in satisfaction. I can only recommend this to the most die-hard of Dragon Quest fans, and even then I’d suggest proceeding with extreme caution.

Oct 6, 2023Infinity Strash: DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai is a missed opportunity for fans of Dai (known as The Adventures of Fly in the West) who were hoping for a good game to revive the franchise. Despite the dedication to telling the story, the game is mediocre and fails to encompass everything seen in the anime remake. In short, it joins the list of anime-based games that fail to live up to their expectations and squander their potential.

Oct 6, 2023Ultimately, Infinity Strash is a lifeless husk of a video game that can’t be redeemed by an added post-game difficulty or the dozens of simplified and random stages of the Temple of Recollections. Spend your time and money on anything else with the “Dragon Quest” name on it instead, and leave this one in the Strash bin.
